Good Value
I am a retired drafting instructor and used tools like these decades ago. This has all the quality and characteristics of those units so have met my expectations. Great to use with grid paper and as a hard line sketch tool. Also great to add a line or two to complete a drawing. I would not rate the plastic as brittle, it has limited flexibility (particularly from my desire to not break). Less flexible than quality drafting triangles and straightedges but not a brittle as low quality straightedges. The wings can break off on these with a drop if plastic is too stiff. Good buy and price for two compared to the price we used to pay for just one of these.

A game changer
This is definitely a game changer in my art. This is a must have for anyone who works with rulers. I’ve heard about this type of ruler but always was a Leary about getting it and I didn’t want to spending a lot for it. Getting two rulers was perfect because I can use the six inch one for smaller tasks and the 12 inch for larger tasks. You can just roll it one way while drawing in you lines. I use mechanical pencils so they slip Nicky in the holes in order to create a circle. And besides, if you’re not happy with it just return it to Amazon. But you should know within an hour if these rulers will work for you. Enjoy.😃

Good ruler for engineering
I seen someone using one of these and had to have one for myself. I love the idea. It has some trig formulas on it and conversion amounts. It rolls pretty easy especially on paper. You can make circles and measure angles also. But you'll have to use a mechanical pencil as the holes are very small. I like it but do have a few problems with it though. On the small one the holes are drilled through the centimeter numbers so it's hard to see. While the plastic does feel thick enough for the smaller one I don't think it's sufficient for the larger one. As soon as I took it out of the box I dropped it on the table and it cracked between two of the holes. Thankfully I was able to use some super glue to fix it.

Great for small drawing work.
I have wanted one of these for 30 years, never could find one. Like anything plastic, don't drop it. To use properly you need a starting line to maintain horizontal.

Not bad!
Though definitely not as accurate as a t-square, it is great for laying down some quick parallel lines

Doesn't roll.
I am sorry to say that once again I should not have bought the cheapest. The wheels roll a little then get stuck, That makes these rulers useless to me. I really like the idea of them. I am going to shell out some $$ and try to get one that works.
