I have used this brand for many years. They are realistic and add ambiance to any room. I put them in wall sconces. The batteries last between 4 to 6 weeks. Although some may think that they are pricey, I am willing to pay more for quality products.

Pricey, but the most realistic flame on the market...flame color and flicker looks totally natural. They aren't wax, as most Luminara candles are, but these are inside a set of lusters, so that isn't an issue for me. I didn't purchase the remote, because the timer function is fine for my use. Long lasting battery life also.

LOVE having these in the house in the dark months. My first Luminara were from a TV shopping channel and came in a lantern. They were real wax on the exterior and they got sticky and attracted dust. Became ugly. The candles I have since added are smooth plastic and stay clean and ivory colored. Remote and timers work as they should. I like the smaller candles best because the batteries don’t wear down quickly. My grandchildren are charmed by “candles that don’t “burn”.

I have many Luminara candles…the quality is always first rate. These votives are the perfect size.. I can use them in many places. I would purchase them again.

I like these candles one is they take AA batteries not the other batteries that look like a coin which are expensive. They do have a timer. The flicking color is just right. the reason I gave it 4 stars is because they are made of hard plastic not the real wax . I find it takes away from the aesthetic.

Luminara candles can not be beaten by any other candle maker . it looks like a real candle "classy" you may think it is priced high but the cost is more than well worth it. i have purchased many of these candles and they have lasted for years and years. the only candles i will buy and needless to say you dont have to worry about Fire. you can use them at dinner parties , in jack o lanterns just everywhere.

Ordered 2 wall sconces and the included mason jars to put candles into. Decided I wanted to avoid burning my house down so I picked up a 3 pack of low cost “flickering “ fake candle for $15.00 on Amazon. Not realistic and didn’t fit in my mason jar. Ordered these expensive candles at more than 3x the cost and they are worth every penny. Incredibly realistic artificial dancing flame in low light conditions and they fit my mason jars perfectly. I also love that they hold 2AAA batteries for such a small candle. Better battery life and easily available replacement batteries. WIN! I’m happy and will be purchasing more sizes and styles of this companies candles in the future. Nothing else compares to the flickering realism of this artificial flame.

I live in an apartment and love the look of candles without the danger of a flame

I prefer the 'dancing', flickering candles as they seem more real rather than just the steady 'flame' flickering candles. The Luminara candles may be a bit more pricey, but they look sooooo much nicer and adds to the ambiance of your room setting ...not to mention being safer over using real candles. Another good use is when the power goes out, these candles can be used for light in all rooms.

We had a glass and metal candle holder. So, rather than using a real candle and get candle wax everywhere, I measured the holder and this product fitted a treat. Thank you.
