I've wowed friends and dates with inventive recipes, custom syrups, smoke, fire, and ice. Despite owning other cocktail books, I always look to Cocktail Chemistry first for inspiration and recipes. Glad I now have a physical copy to reference anytime!

I'm a huge fan of Nick Fisher's "Cocktail Chemistry" YouTube channel. His recipes, techniques and creative adaptations of drinks from TV and movies are on-point, and delivered in an entertaining and efficient manner. All of these elements are present in the Cocktail Chemistry - the book. Plus it's illustrated with beautiful photographs.Nick reveals specifics of his mixology techniques, including the specific size of ice cubes and how many times he stirs his cocktails. The volume also contains several "show stopper" cocktails and techniques that are bound to leave your party guests awed.The recipes and ingredients should be within the range of the average home bartender, and I look forward to trying more of these recipes, particularly Nick's new-and-improved versions. Black Manhattan - I'm coming for you!"Cocktail Chemistry" makes a great addition to the bookshelf of any cocktail enthusiast - I highly recommend it!

This book is so creative, very well written and easy to follow for a beginner like me!I learned so much even from the intro!Did you know that triangle measuring thingy is a jigger?! I do now!All of the drinks so far are quite complex yet the recipes are simple and fun. They actually look like the pictures in the book! I can't wait to try all of these!

Despite being a long-time craft cocktail enjoyer, I had always found the thought of making cocktails at home a bit intimidating. The Cocktail Chemistry YouTube channel and now book helped break down that wall for me. Nick does a nice job making the recipes accessible and as a self-professed nerd, I enjoy learning a bit of the origin stories and chemistry behind the cocktails. The recipes in this book are equally great for the entry level home bartender and those looking to flex their bartending skills in creative and more involved ways. I also love me some good pictures and this book has gorgeous ones that alone have inspired me to pull out my boston shaker on more than the occasional week night evening!

The inside binding was coming apart when I got this book but all and all a great book and can't see the tear from the outside so it's fine.Extremely helpful information.

I've been a fan of Nick's You Tube Channel for awhile and jumped at the chance to get his book. I was a little worried that it would just be a repeat of his channel. There are recipes in the book that are also on the channel, but there is more to the book and I LOVE how it is laid out. Just like the You Tube Channel you will get an indepth science lesson behind the drink and the parts of it. Learn the different types of glasses, how to make clear ice, different versions of the same drink. It didn't disappoint!

Nick's managed to capture the fun, unique and educational aspects of the Youtube channel in book form! The recipes are well thought-out, fun to read and flat out delicious. Even if you don't make a single cocktail, I'd still recommend the book just for the stunning pics!
