Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue Medium Coverage Liquid Foundation

I've honestly really loved this. I have fairly sensitive skin and foundation typically without fail causes me to break out a little every so often just simply because I am a college student, and if I wear makeup at 7 in the morning it's staying on all day until I finally go home. At the end of the day, this foundation still feels wonderful on my skin. Usually my foundation, after it's put up with around 10 hours of wear, it's bound to feel dry or oily or gross, but not this foundation. This foundation also looks gorgeous no matter how many hours I've worn it when I spray my face with a little bit of Amore Pacific facial mist, and I personally that impressive that I don't even need to reapply. All in all, this is a great every day foundation. The coverage is buildable, and I would personally prefer a more high coverage foundation if this foundation wasn't so incredibly beautiful and comfortable. I was able to attain great coverage, though, by just layering it. The result was not cakey whatsoever, and my face had a wonderful slightly dewy glow to it. I'm a fan. I wish a higher coverage version of this foundation would come out for the days I want to look a little more photo-perfect.

I have purchased high end foundations for years and they seem to alter their quality of the product so I am always open to a better product and this is wonderful. I found a quality foundation that has exceeded my expectations for a portion of the cost. It's medium to full coverage that you honestly forget you have on it's that lightweight. It is easy to apply I use a Kabuki foundation brush that I bought from Amazon and note very little goes a long way with coverage that is awesome. No color change due to oxidation throughout the day. I have become more interested in better ingredients in what I put on my face avoiding irritants and this worked. I used Forever HD, Estee Lauder foundations, Two faced born this way and never went without having to retouch them so very dissatisfied with the promises and high cost - not so with this Bourjois healthy mix it's beautiful on my skin that is on the dryer side as I am a young 57 yr. old that works in the business that helps others look their best. The only draw back is a slight smell for a couple minutes after application.

I ordered this foundation months ago because one of my favorite YouTuber's raved about it (KathleenLights). The 1oz lasted me through the spring, all of summer, and I'm just now running low. This foundation is the best foundation I have ever used! As I've gotten older (I'm 24) my skin has become very sensitive and EVERYTHING makes me break out. This is the only foundation that I have found that is gentle enough for my skin. The finish is very natural and a tad dewy, but not oily at all! I have combination skin with some very oily areas and some very dry areas. This foundation doesn't make me oily, nor does it cling to dry patches. It just creates a beautifully natural appearance. It is light coverage which I prefer! I love being able to see my skin, and then I just spit conceal for blemishes/under eyes. I just ordered 2 more bottles that way I always have it on hand! I HIGHLY recommend this foundation!

FYI Bourjois is a sister company of Chanel. The application of this is similar, very, very similar to Chanel's Aqua Vitalumiere. Application: Application is easy. This is sheer and could, with effort, build to a medium coverage. It has a very skin-like finish and comes off as very natural. As far as how it looks on my skin, this is 5 stars. It makes my skin look like skin, but better. I have combination skin. With a primer this does not settle into pores and it does not cling to dry patches. I did not get oily, nor did it dry me out. Where the application fails is longevity. The first two hours are perfect. Around hour three and four I see significant break down. It slides around my face and breaks up. I have tampered with and without primer, as well as used a few primers with it. It just breaks up no matter what by the 4 hour mark. Even with powdering I get, max 4 hours of this with perfect looking skin. RE-applying is easy and quick but probably not realistic for most people. For me, I use this as a quick skin touch up when I need to run to the store, my skin could use a little love on the way to the gym, or for short errands. Color:51, Light Vanille, I am pale and pink. I have to walk away from many makeup companies because they don't go light enough for me (I'm looking at you Clinique, Clarins, Estee Lauder...). I would be considered Lancome's newest shade in 90N, but can also make 100N and 110C work for me. I often aim for neutral tones over pink because I like sheer or medium foundation and to let my skin shine through a little. This foundation is yellow. Quite yellow. However, it's sheer so it might be something passable for some people who are not warmer colored. I have made this work for me with a color adjuster. The skinny? This foundation could have been my holy grail item because of how easy it applies, how beautiful and natural is looks, and how it does not irritate my skin in the least. However, it fails on longevity and color options. If you don't mind touching up and lean yellow, this is a fantastic alternative to Chanel's Chanel's Aqua Vitalumiere. If you end up loving this and the color doesn't work out for you, Chanel's color options are a bit better.

One of the best foundations I have tried! I love it. I like the texture, how it looks on my skin, and the finish. My skin is really pale, so I ordered the lightest shade, Vanille Clair. It matches my skin really well. I have applied this with brushes and my hands, both work fine. A little bit of product goes a long way, so I typically only use one pump (bonus points for having a pump). I have yet to use it with a beauty blender, but I assume because its a gel-like texture that a beauty blender would work well. I have really dry skin, and it doesn't cling to dry patches or let dry patches come through by the end of the day. I don't powder with this foundation because my skin is so dry, but if you're oily using it sparingly only in the T-Zone might be a good idea, since the finish is demi matte. It lasts pretty well throughout the day. I don't find myself reapplying. Its nice in the summer where I live because right now its hot and a little humid. I use a moisturizer as a primer and a sunscreen. Works great and the foundation still lasts. If you're oily maybe only a primer and sunscreen.

I heard about this foundation on a YouTube video for 'mature' skin. I decided to try and it and I am very happy with it. I have pretty good skin with some redness and it is very dry. This foundation gives me enough coverage for the redness and makes my skin look dewy and healthy. It feels great and there's no transfer that I've noticed. I had a little trouble deciding to get shade 51 or 52 which are the two lightest shades. I tend to do better with the more yellowish foundations and I chose 52. It looks good on my pale skin. I'm using a damp wedge sponge to apply and I LOVE the pump bottle because I feel like things stay cleaner. Definitely I will keep using this foundation until it is inevitably discontinued and I have to go on another three year quest to find something I like only to be again heartbroken by the stupid, stupid beauty industry.

I am a Jaclyn Hill fanatic, she had me convinced to try this foundation and I'm happy I did. I had to wait a couple of weeks for it to ship to the US but I'm happy I did. My skin type: Very sensitive, prone to breakouts and dryness, treated with retinol and glycolic acid EOD. Visible pores and can get oily in my T-zone. No wrinkles or fine lines. My skin tone: Fair with olive undertones, some redness, a few sun spots on my cheek region. My makeup routine: Primer (Tatcha), foundation (applied with a brush), under-eye concealer (Urban Decay Naked), setting powder for my under eyes (Anastasia banana powder), blush, setting spray (Urban Decay), then eye makeup and lipstick (many many many brands and products). This product: I have the color 53 Beige Clair (light beige) which is perfect for my light olive skin. It provides light to medium coverage that is buildable, goes on smoothly on top of my primer, and gives a very glowy/dewy appearance. I always go for a more natural makeup look and this does exactly that. It covers my sun spots and redness very well, evens out my skin tone,l and does not make my skin oily or make me break out. As far as longevity is concerned, I can't speak to that because I use a setting spray which is meant to extend the life of my makeup for 12-14 hours, so it stays on all day but that's probably more because of the setting spray than the foundation itself. It hasn't really changed the quality of my skin at all, but I don't expect it to, it's not skin care.

I am giving this item three stars because I am on the fence about it. I did not apply this makeup to my face as it arrived busted (the makeup had spilled onto the bubble wrap). I can't believe some reviewers who received damaged or potentially tampered with foundation actually put them on their face! This is a personal hygiene sort of product, and I wouldn't put something that seemed open already anywhere near my skin (my product did not seem to be sealed either). I am relieved that it was busted, though, because I was able to notice how strong this foundation smells. While it has a pleasant scent, I have extremely sensitive skin and wouldn't have bought this had I known it was so strongly scented (not just with fruits, but actual fragrance). I will say that I was pleasantly surprised that this item arrived roughly two to three weeks ahead of it's scheduled arrival time. But I am in the process of returning it due to it being broken, and will probably not re-order with this seller or any other seller. Would recommend others try for themselves, but don't use it if it's open or if you may have an issue with fragrance in your makeup.

Esta base- sérum llevo usándola años, lo que más me gusta es que es muy natural y cómoda, te pone buena cara en segundos. Al no tener mucha cobertura deja a la piel respirar, hace algo además algo que a mí me gusta mucho y es que al llevar sérum notas como tu piel va mejorando con su uso, no te cubre las imperfecciones como una máscara sino que mejora tu piel y cuando no llevas maquillaje tienes la piel mucho más suave. Los únicos puntos negativos es que no lleva protección solar por lo que yo siempre la mezclo con un poco de crema de sol y que hay muy pocos tonos, personas de piel más oscura no van a encontrar su tono (a ver si las marcas se enteran de que no solo existe la gente blanca). En resumen, si quieres cuidar tu piel con un producto de calidad está es tu base pero si prefieres algo más cubriente, mejor vete a otra. PD: además dura un montón

The foundation is good and authentic, however it is very translucent coverage. I recommend only if your skin is almost perfect.
