I wouldn’t use this to remove ear wax but to see what is happening in your ear if you are experiencing problems. Due to the light at the end it can become quite warm. If you have a build up of wax use drops for a few weeks. I can imagine the removal kits to be dangerous. The picture quality was very good and the app easy to use

The media could not be loaded.  I've been troubled with ear wax for a few weeks and tried to get an appointment with a doctor but my appointment for the ear wax removal is weeks far away. So, I bought this VITCOCO Otoscope Ear wax removal cleaning kit and give it a trial to see whether it might work to help me clean my ear wax. This Otoscope is very soft and skin-friendly as it had an aluminium ear spoon having a Q-tip soft silicone ear sleeve. It is very small in size and hence easy to carry. It has a 1920 HD camera with which can see clearly what's going on inside. It also had 6 LED lights which are very powerful to focus the light inside the ear. The thermostats present at the handle and ear spoon always maintains constant temperature which will protect the ear. The rotating stainless steel fixed cap is used to improve stability and for the easy replacement of silicon, ear picks. It is having a very thin lens which will be very secure to keep it inside the ear.

I suffer from very waxy ears so I bought this just to see inside my ear canal rather than use it for removing the wax. I downloaded the app onto my Samsung Galaxy Tablet which was easy and the probe at the end just unscrews off and so I can use it just as a camera to see if I need to have the wax removed or not. It does just what I want it to do and can take pictures or videos which gets saved to my gallery.Worked exactly how I expected.

Works as advertised but wasn't that good if the inside of my ears looked anything like the pics they showed no doubt it would have worked at shoveling it all out but luckily mine didn't.I think the advertising makes you believe you have a worse problem than you believe so you think my ears must be like that and that's what I need. Reality check don't think anyones ears are that bad

First thing I did was remove the plastic ear pick piece. Do NOT use it for home wax removal. Throw those bits in the bin or you will injure yourself or have one fall off inside.Rather the device will clearly show what’s happening in the ear, without having to be inserted too far and risking injury.That can inform you to apply ear drops or syringe/micro suction.The quality is very good, one can clearly see the drum just as well as you see with online videos of professionals using professional equipment for micro suction.Device does not get hot in the minute it takes to check both ears, and connects no problem to my iPhone 13.

Excellent picture quality but I would not risk trying to remove wax in the ear with this therefore I just used the camera to see where the wax was then squirted warm water in the ear to remove wax.I initially used a standard USB-C power supply and cable to connect to the units charging port but I have now discovered why the unit did not charge. the Endescope charging connector is USB-C but it doesn’t work with a USB-C power supply…… when I reverted to the supplied USB - USB-C connector plugged in to a standard USB socket the charge completed to 100%

I was having trouble with ear wax in one ear to the extent it was completely blocked. Appointments for ear wax removal were weeks away so I purchased this to see if it would help. I had already used some Otex to try an clear it and while some hearing returned I knew it wasn’t 100% clear.The app installed without issue, the camera was 100% charged out of the box and gave an image straight away. Ten minutes later I had been able to clear ALL the wax using the default tool that came attached. Brilliant! The picture was very clear and on my iPad gave a large image.There are several similar devices for sale on Amazon and this was one of the cheaper ones. Money well spent as it the ear wax removal appointment was going to cost £55 so overall it saved me £35. Highly recommended.Note I would suggest using something like Otex to soften the wax beforehand.
