Novelty scarves are still in style. With this rectangle loom anyone can be fashionable. Working on the same principle as the round knitting looms, this loom knits a single layer. Simply knit until your scarf is the desired length and finish off.

You Can't Have Too Many Looms
I now have 3 of these 22" long looms, and will probably get a couple more before too long. I have a small business that I make scarves and other knit goods for along with a lot of things for my family, and these make it so easy to switch between projects with no down time. It's nice to be able to go to one project and work for a while, then pick up another when one gets too tedious. The hardest part seems to be- for me- to remember what stitch I am doing on which project!I have two different afghans going on 2 of my looms, and my third is currently empty. I have all the long loom sizes, but seem to use the 22" ones more. All the Provo Craft knitters are fabulous products, and even if you have no talent for needle knitting- I'm one of those- you can make virtually the same things on these. A must have for anyone!

Long loom
I'm using it for a baby blanket and will see if I've understood the instructions. They are DIFFICULT to understand. I don't mind-read as to whether I am to repeat certain parts of the steps as I am wrapping the loom, preparatory to casting off. For example, do I skip one peg with a wrap as I come from an end and the end of the row, leaving me one less or two less to cast off each time?I hope the receipient of the blanket cannot see my mistakes but thinks it is "artistic license"!Can someone send me much more detailed instructions as to the end wrapping of the loom?

Knitting made quick and easy
I love this knitting loom! I cannot knit with needles so this is a quick and easy alternative. The directions are a little to be desired . The only thing I don 't like is that the middle of the loom bows in when when working on a project if you wrap your yarn too tight. But otherwise I really enjoy knitting on this long loom

Easy knitting!!!
It's amazing how easy it can be to knit with this loom!!!You can knit beautiful scarfs, or even blankets by just connecting the parts together. You can also knit tube-like garments just like in the circular looms. In no time you will have professional quality items in your hands!!!You just have to pick your favorite yarn!!!If you combine it with the "knifty knitter loom clips" the possibilities are endless of what you can create!!! The only thing that you have to be aware, is to prefer bulky oar extra bulky yarns or use double the thread of thinner yarns especially if you're making scarfs!!!Happy knitting everyone!!!

Great for any knitter!
I got this one, after buying the multi-size round loom kit from the same brand, so I could make a baby blanket for the boss' new baby. The extra length yields a wider piece (obviously.) It's convenient, easy to use, well-made and well-priced. I recommend it to any knitter, regardless of age or experience.

I love it!
I decided that I wanted to try making a rubberband mural, so I did some research and Knifty Knitter has a very good reputation. So I ordered this loom. I'm working on a piece now and I'm very happy with the size and performance of the loom. It's very sturdy. I love the small grooves in each pin as it allows me to get my hook under the bands when removing them. Highly recommend this product!

Does what it is supposed to do!
Only reason for giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that it is a little awkward to work with because of its length, which is no fault of the product. I wish the manufacturer would provide instructions for such things as making buttonholes.

I will be returning it
The actual loom from tip to tip is 22" but from weaving peg to weaving peg it's more like 20-21". It has 62 pegs on it. I can definitely see how some people can say it's flimsy because it's very lightweight albeit very awkward to hold. The main reason I dislike it so much is because the pegs are extremely small and the tip of the peg DOES NOT keep the yarn on the peg. I would wind an entire row and it would slip off as I was working it or, worse, individual loops would come off causing me to have to undo all the stitches I had done and re-loop everything. The hook that comes with it has a blunt tip and it's hard to use with some types of yarn.
