This is an excellent size container made of good material. I have been using it for some time now and it makes cooking with the sous vide very nice. The two problems I have experience with it are with the sides. It has a rolled plastic lip and angled sides along the entire rim. It makes mounting the sous vide device a little bit awkward. If this were specifically made for a sous vide attachment a flat tab on one side would be very helpful. The second complaint, and it is with the rolled plastic lip, is trying to use clips for attaching bags to the side. Because of the width of the lip it is difficult to get clips on there.Other than that it is a great size, I have done fish, steaks, pork and even five to 6 pound briskets and beef tenderloins in it. It had plenty of space.

Everything about this container is perfect for Sous Vide, from the gradation marks to the size of the lip for the Sous Vide clamp and clip for the cooking bag. Durable plastic and being clear it’s easy to monitor the food visually.

The 12 quart, or 12 litre polycarbonate Sous Vide container has proven to be exactly what I required for my heater/mixer. Many suppliers in Australia offer similar items for many times the price I paid, and it arrived in Australia in less than a week, several days ahead of the suggested delivery date. I have used it several times already and I am very pleased with the product.

My son who put me on to this has a 4.75 gal (19 qts) container. Unless needed for a large "cookout", it's rather large and uses a lot of water to fill to the minimum level. This 12 qt container is perfect for smaller, family cooking & also holds the water temp well. Before purchasing, used a round pot (about 10" diameter) which although served the purpose did not work as well the rectangular shape both in accommodating the amount of food and viewing the items. Not multi-functional but can be used as soda/beer ice bath.

The size is perfect for two to three people for the standard menu items. I will not be using this for large roasts or other big meats. I fits and works great.

I'm sure it's a good product but it's smaller than I thought. Some of the pictures are a bit misleading as it looks longer.

This came purfect in time & pkging.... highly suggest buying & il be buying more ... clear, ez cleaning & durable... great priduct thanx!
