Outside noise is practically non-existent. The bass report is just as good as the original pair, probably better imo. I listen to a lot of DnB and these definitely have that deep thump/kick you're looking for. Games I've played have had similar results too so no quality problems there either. There's enough also material to prevent them from coming loose from the headphones as long you install them correctly by making sure you slide the cloth fully around/into the ring of the headphones properly. I've checked the ring and they show no sights of being too small to stay wrapped tightly. As for durability, I just got them at the time of this review so I'll update that after I've had them for a while. But the material looks and feels pretty reliable; and hasn't shown any damage from my occasional mistaken scratches by my sometimes pricky fingernails. Good purchase choice.
