Great value freezer contents saver - impressed
Bought a couple of these as our freezer needed an alarm as we made a mistake and I accidentally left it turned off. Transmitters still work OK even though they are inside the metal-doored fridge or freezer with the doors shut. Display has 4 handy magnets for door mounting. Display has good contrast and uses two AAA batteries and the transmitters use two AA each, fit batteries and it works straight away. Alarms are easy to set up for min/max and sound is loud enough for me. Alarm only sounds if temp exceeds limits after 10 mins. Display updates every minute or so. No idea how long the transmitter will work in the freezer, it is probably asking a lot from the cells to work at that temp but initially, all is good. Would make a handy thing for caravanners or motorhomes as well, which is where our second one will live.Update - after 3 month's use they have paid for themselves alerting me to a freezer having been shut off by mistake. A little quirky in the setting up but easily worth the money and peace of mind. You certainly become more temperature aware in the fridge and freezer. A must have.

Accuracy
The information given does not tell you the maximum distance the receiver to transmitting sensor needs to be to function. I can confirm that they work fine over approximately 60 feet with one sensor enclosed within a freezer. Accuracy seems very reasonable for the cost of the unit. One other point, if you replace the batteries in one sensor then you need to remove and replace the batteries in the receiver so that the receiver can recognise the sensor. I do not know how long the batteries will last as I have only had the unit for a day. No backlight on the display disappointing, the only other annoying point is the reset button resets all the maximum and minimum temperatures together.
