Heatstorm Benton Glace Heater, Multicolor

This may be one of the most dangerous products I have ever used. Quickly, I'll preface with the positives: innovative concept, artistic, and the customer service is OK.Now, for the bad.We are on our second unit in less than 2 months. The first unit's adhesive that connects the glass to the "art" started separating. Literally by a hair this thing was dangling. Thankfully we caught it before it was too late. If you had a pet or a young child it could LITERALLY KILL them. If something small or young happened to be by the glass when it separated, it would have been game over. That's worst case scenario. Best case scenario you'd end up with destroyed floors, glass all over the place, any number of dangerous possibilities. That's the first unit.Second unit:We received a second unit for free as a warranty replacement after we complained. Thumbs up to customer service? This second unit started to separate the heating element from the metal hardware that hangs it to the wall. All the life threatening and property damaging scenarios from the first one are absolutely applicable here.Two units, two separate and DANGEROUS issues. This is lawsuit territory had it not been caught. Do yourself a favor and stay away.UPDATE APR 19 2021: Changing to three stars. Their customer service is very good. They sent out a third unit that will hopefully not repeat the same issues but we'll see. Will keep updating. At the very least they care about their reputation and product and that's hard to find these days.

These panels are beautiful! Arrive in special box with perfect padding to prevent damage. They heat up quickly and can keep a room very comfortable. No danger to having it on a wall, they project heat forward. These do get hot and there is no thermostat, so I recommend you pick up a thermostat plug for these. That will enable you to control the panel based on how hot you want the space. Do some measuring before ordering, these are tall (and heavy). They plug in, but would look better in your space if you could have an electrician wire them direct, so you don't see the cord. You can order these in an array of artwork.

Awful. Overheated one side of my body and the other side was cold. Got a headache. and my eyes started to burn. All this happened within 15 minutes of turning the heater on. I was sitting over 5 feet away from the heater and I was perpendicular to it.

Great product with a very responsive and supportive customer service. I was able to get helpful and prompt responses to my questions by phone and email. The glass heater looks great and warms the room. No installation was needed, just had to plug it in and turn it on. I'm happy with my purchase.

You need to install a recessed outlet for it to be cord free looking, but exquisite artwork.
