The remote control is flimsy and does not fit over the regular light switch.Has to be mounted separately. To switch fan direction the light cover has to be removed.

The light does notWork well- never did. My daughter just didn’t useIt. It progresses through the different levelsOfLight, turns off and does it again. Intermittently.

These fans look so modern but fit my homey aesthetic perfectly . Def recommend if you want a modern look with a traditional feel!

Like as installed above bed and provides gentle breeze at setting one. Very nice for sleeping. This fan has four settings with 3,558 CFM airflow. Have to anchor any loose paper when setting is at 3 or 4. This fan really moves air! No wobble! Did not have to balance blades even though kit included. Installed without included ceiling extender piece (4" length) so hugs ceiling nicely.Light is dimmable with remote. Had to call customer service to understand how to dim light from remote. Remote did have battery included.Like that fan has no dangling chain. To reverse (for winter) you have to remove light lens which I will probably never do.Would have rated Noise Level at 5 if swishing/clicking sound did not occur when fan turned on. When fan was installed did not have soft annoying sound. Once fan is on many hours swishing sound seems to go away but when shut off then restarted soft sound starts again then disappears after several hours. Soft Sound is like something rubbing inside.

I bought three of these fans for bedrooms, one was not working and returned immediately. The fans were professionally installed, so it wasn't my fault this time. I have had a long career in electronic engineering.I have had the fans for 2.5 years and my advise is don't buy it unless you have an application that requires a remote control only. If the fan/light is wired to provide power off a room wall switch the electronic design gets wacky (technical design jargon). Turning the room light switch on resulted in the light continuously cycle through the lighting states. Cool light show but not helpful. Point: don't wire the unit power through a wall light switch, use the remote only and continuous direct power to the unit. The lumen rating is 1540 lm but I am skeptical since the room illumination is poor. You have to take the fan apart to change the fan direction. The fan speed is good and the noise level is reasonable and it looks marvelous. Recognize the led bulb is one of a kind and at some point you may be junking the fan for a burned out bulb. My fans are 2.5 years old and the annoyance is reaching the replacement level. Good Luck with your decision.
