Money VERY WELL spent!! Affordable, quick & throughout cleaning, fast drying! LOVE IT!!!!
They say the 2-4 star reviews (particularly the 3 star ones) are the best to go off when trying to find out if you should buy an item. That 1 and 5 star reviews typically are written more from emotions about the product/service rather than the actual quality and experience of the product/service. Makes sense, in most cases; but, what about the product/services that actually earn themselves a 5 star bc the quality is amazing?? Thatโs where this Luxe brush cleaner fits in!! I just began wearing make up again here recently and using makeup brushes...well, itโs definitely a a new way for me! That said, when it came time for me to do my first ever brush cleaning I looked up how to clean them..and I was actually dreading having to clean all of my brushes and then leaving them set somewhere overnight. (I live in a very small 2 bedroom mobile home with my 5 kids (ages 14-1 years old) there is NO extra space to lay out a bunch of brushes, esp to where they would get played with, gone missing, or be completely broken. So, I kept pushing the task off. Then I was reading an article, something like โTop 20 Beauty Products Every Woman Needsโ or something along those lines. Thatโs when I saw this baby! After I read up on them and searched for the best one to get, I settled on this one, the Luxe. I absolutely LOVE it! Itโs sooo easy to use and makes brush cleaning far less of a tedious chore. The one I ordered came with a bonus bottle of brush cleaning shampoo, which works so freaking great! Iโve already ran out and havenโt had any luck in locating a bottle of it to buy in its own, except for one that was $35 a bottle and no way Iโm paying that much! (5 kids, remember?). So now I use my cheap cleaners/shampoos. Using the bowl and spinning feature to clean them doesnโt work as well bc the cleaner doesnโt work as well as the Luce but it still helps push the cleaner through the bristles. Then using it to clean off the cleaners works great and gets all of the product out of the bristles. Now, using it to dry the brushes after cleaning is AMAZING!!! Takes absolutely NO time to get even thick, big brushes dry! I love it! I can clean, rinse, and dry my big brushes on about 3-5 mins each (see that that time frame also includes DRYING the brushes, meaning after 3-5 mins the brush is ready to use! None of that leaving them laying around for hours and hours!!!). If you hate having to hand clean your make up brishes and dread when the time comes for a good cleaning, this product is def for you! I havenโt had any troubles with the product, has worked perfectly so far. Iโve used it about 4 or 5 different times so far, cleaning at least 5 or more brushes on each use (yea, I have a lot of brushes). Definitely recommend for every woman that uses make-up brushes!!!

Fun and effective for cleaning round brushes
I saw this on youtube somewhere and thought it was really cool. I hate cleaning my brushes and often will just rub them on a papertowel or something to get as much stuff out of them as I can and call it a day. I then started using brushes for a few creamy products and you can't do that with those. So after a few months of holding them under running water and trying to work the soap and water through the bristles, I figured there had to be a better way. This is really nice. It is just a rechargeable wand with rubber gaskets that hold different sized brushes. The wand spins and whirls the bristles around helping to get the cleaning solution in throughout the bristles. I don't think you can replicate the motion with your hands, unless you are very talented! The gaskets hold almost all of our brushes. We have a few double ended brushes that we didn't want to jam in the gaskets. I also did have one that was more of a paddle type handle, it didn't work with that. I also have one that is very skinny so even the smallest gasket was too big. I just put a piece of masking tape on the handle to beef it up and then inserted it into the gasket and it worked very well. You have to be careful to get them in straight or you risk banging the brush on the glass bowl. I did see someone had trouble with their bowl breaking and I was nervous using mine the first few times. I didn't have any trouble. It wasn't as thin as I feared, but not as as thick as say, a bar mug. It seems like it could be plastic though, and you could probably use some cheap plastic fishbowl if you break yours (or even a drinking glass could work.) My daughter and I just used a small amount of water in our bathroom sink, too without the bowl at all and it worked fine (although there were some spatters of pink water from the brushes all over our sink...simple to clean though. I also saw that someone didn't like that the bowl didn't empty easily due to the splash guard type top. When you turn it to pour, water stays in that rim. That reviewer was correct that water gets stuck in there. I pulled at that black part to see if it was supposed to come out each time, but it seemed really on there. I didn't want to pull too hard and break the glass. We just vigorously shook ours up and down to get the water out and it worked, but it does seem that a notch or small spout or something in that black part would have made it easier. Either that or it should lift off more simply to wash the bowl and underside of the cap/guard part. Overall we really like it. We had a lot of fun using it and were washing all our brushes the first day because it was so fun and easy. I wish there were some model for those paddle type toothbrush style brushes as we have a few of those too (but spinning wouldn't work for those.) For round brushes, though it works very well.

It wonโt magically clean your most soiled brushes, but itโs worth buying for the dry factor
This nifty little gadget wonโt clean your most disgusting, neglected makeup brushes by itself, which I can attest as I attempted that immediately on a foundation brush I havenโt cleaned in over a year (I know. Itโs gross). It did nothing. I had to clean it the old-fashioned way. However, I did get the brush clean, and am happy with the product. The reason I still recommend this product is that it removes two major obstacles that prevent me from regularly cleaning my brushes: 1) not being able to get the brush all the way clean, and 2) having my brush unavailable for several days while it dries. 1) One of the main reasons I chose this product over other similar ones in Amazon (other than it being rechargeable via USB-C) was the included cleaning solution. This was a good choice, because the solution really does a great job releasing old makeup from brushes. I still had to scrub by hand under running water, but it did get my nasty brush THOROUGHLY cleanโsomething I could never accomplish with Dawn and vinegar even though the internet always tells you that will work. I would purchase this cleaning solution again. 2) Once you get almost all of the old caked-on makeup off, the spinny gadget will finally help get the rest cleaned off - then, most importantly, it DRIES YOUR BRUSH. My brush felt at least 90% dry when done, if not more, just from a quick 7-10 second spin. I couldnโt believe it!! I honestly felt like I could immediately use my brush again if I had to (but I left it out to โcompletelyโ dry anyway, just in case). You could definitely clean your brush at night and feel sure it would be 100% dry by morning, no matter how soaked your brush got during cleaning. This is a game-changer; I have always put off cleaning brushes until I wouldnโt need them for several days to account for dry time, which means I rarely ever did it. Now I donโt have to do that anymore! And the little bowl that comes with the set is cleverly designed so that it contains all the droplets spinning off your brush. Iโm optimistic that Iโll be better about frequently cleaning brushes now that I have a product that makes it so much easier.

Love this thing & don't understand the negative reviews
I read some of the negative reviews & don't understand the hate. I think that perhaps those few people either got a defective unit, didn't charge it long enough (some said it barely spins), or weren't using it properly. Although it is pretty simple to use & the instructions are very clear. Some complained that it didn't clean the brush as advertised (within 10-15 seconds). You have to keep in mind HOW DIRTY your brushes are. Most of my eyeshadow or small brushes were cleaned with just one round. But I have one foundation brush that was loaded with make-up. Yes, it didn't get all the foundation off in the first try. I had to do 3 rounds total to get all the makeup off completely. I couldn't believe how much makeup ended up being washed off in the water bowl each time I used it. I forgot to take before & after photos. But the unit did thoroughly clean (& dry) all my brushes. I love the fact that you can use the highest speed setting to dry the brushes. Although a few of the bigger ones that had more bristles were still a bit damp, so I just let them air dry for about 5-10 minutes. When I hand washed that same foundation brush & let it air dry, the dense bristles became misshapen. I realized it was due to the fact that there was still makeup deep inside the bristles. A few spins on high speed fixed that problem. Now my brush is back to its usual shape & looks brand new. The only negative thing I would say its that I wish it came with just a few more rubber sleeves of different sizes. The ones included fit most of my brushes but there were 2 or 3 brushes that didn't fit any of the sleeves. They were either too big or too small . Overall, I am happy with my purchase & it's kind of fun to use. I recommend this product to anyone who is tired of having to hand wash multiple brushes & then wait forever for them to fully air dry.

Wow! What a time saver!!!
This was even better than I expected! I picked this one for the usb recharging which is wonderful. The quality is great and it works extremely well. My brushes are clean and dried it seconds. I went through all my brushes in less than 5 minutes including the prep and easy clean up. I gave this 5 stars for easy of use because it is awesome and much more efficient than the other method I used with a special mat and drying stand. That way wasted a lot of water and cleaner and was rough on my brushes. I gave it 4 stars for cleaning because the glass bowl and plastic top doesnโt detach. Thus, when trying to rinse out and clean the bowl, the plastic top is recessed and holds water in the lip of it. I would suggest they make the plastic top threaded in the future so you can unscrew it for better drainage or make is a flexible removable silicon ring so it can be removed. This is a really great product but I had to give it a 3 stars for traveling because I donโt see anything with a glass bowl being good or safe in that category. It is all packaged really well but would still wonโt risk traveling with it. Overall this is a 5 star product! I am so impressed with it that I am buying a second one for my mother today for a Motherโs Day gift.

it seemed like it could be just what I needed
Mixed feelings about this product. All of my brushes are bare essentials brushes with natural bristles. I only used them for powder products and have never really cleaned them as often as I should...maybe once a month using a small amount of shampoo in the palm of my hand to clean and then conditioner to soften before air drying overnight. I had looked at the Lilumia brush cleaner, but in researching before purchasing had found that my brushes are too short for that machine. When I found this product, I was very excited. At about 1/3 the cost of Lilumia and able to handle short handled brushes, it seemed like it could be just what I needed. What I like: 1. The tool seems to handle cleaning powder from my brushes fairly well using my shampoo. I havenโt tried the Luxe cleaning solution as I donโt use my brushes for creams or liquid makeup. 2. The process is quick for a single brush. 3. If you want a chance to reshape your brushes, you can shorten the spin time to stop when they are just damp. They will still dry very quickly when laying them out to air dry the rest of the way. 4. The charging stand/collar holder is very organized and doesnโt take up too much space on a counter. What could be improved: 1. The black lip around the edge of the bowl is very difficult to remove. I was a little scared to do so based on the other reviews of the bowl breaking at this step. 2. Cleaning the brush, emptying the dirty water, refilling again with clean water, rinsing the brush, then adding soap for the next brush seems to be extreme. But I also donโt want to continue to use the same dirty water for too many brushes in a row. 3. I really wish there were 2 bowls. One for cleaning and one for rinsing. 4. I wish that there was some sort of grip on the bottom of the bowl so that it did not slide or move across your counter when cleaning brushes. To keep the bowl from sliding around too much, I ended up using a silicone potholder under the bowl. 5. I wish there were more โin-betweenโ sizes for the collars that could be purchased separately. With many of my brushes, it is either too tight of a fit and difficult to remove the brush or way to big on the next size up. The instructions do mention adding a bit of soap to the brush handle, but this means you need to also wash and rinse your handle after cleaning the brush. And with short handled brushes, you may need to pull on the ferrule instead of the brush handle to remove from the collar, which is also not ideal. a. Collar sizes that come with the product are: i. 5mm diameter ii. 7mm iii. 9mm iv. 11mm v. 15mm vi. 19mm vii. 24mm viii. 30mm Iโm currently torn on whether to keep or return the product. While it does clean powder from brushes well, it is a bit time consuming to switch water (if you donโt want to continue to use the same dirty water) and collars for each brush.

It's worth the price!
Quick Summary: Sturdy, convenient, and deep cleans great! Makeup cleaner works good! In depth review: I bought a cheaper makeup brush cleaner that had to use batteries. Funny enough it was my husband who asked why I didn't buy one with a USB C charger which is why I bought this one. So had 2 makeup brush cleaners for comparison and this one beats the cheaper version. Pros: - Sturdy material. The rubber adaptors felt stronger and was more flexible than the cheaper ones. The part where you stick the rubber adaptors onto the actual wand for this one was not a plastic piece you have to stick on. I'm not sure of the material it is but for this sake we will say it is metal. The brush bowl black part ontop stick onto the bowl and doesn't fall due to the silicone around it vs the cheaper one it just sits ontop but can fall off. - No need for batteries! This was the exact reason why I bought this. The brush spinner sits on the charger and you plug the cord into the back of the charging stand. - 3 speeds. This is good for when you smaller brushes that doesn't need to spin at the highest setting. - Makeup brush cleaner got all my makeup off. The picture of the brush I show hasn't been cleaned since... yes it's gross... probably a year. It got it all clean after about 10-15 seconds of my dipping the brush up and down. It's not scented but that doesn't bother me. And you do not need to use a lot to clean! I only put 2-3 drops of cleaner and it cleaned the brushes good. Cons: - I noticed my brushes dried faster with the cheaper makeup brush cleaner. It's not anything major but since I had two to compare, I wish this one could've dried it out as much as the cheaper one. BUT it still dries the brush off just enough. - Brush spinner doesn't go easily into charger. This could be my lack of inexperience but the few times I have tried, it's hard for me to make the brush spinner sit on the charger easily. Overall, this is a good brush cleaner and for the price you get a more sturdy one than other cheap makeup brush cleaners.

FAST! EASY! EFFORTLESS! BRUSH-CLEANING FOR DUMMIES! BRILLIANT!
FAST! EASY! EFFORTLESS! BRUSH-CLEANING FOR DUMMIES! BRILLIANT! I have tried so many different products to clean brushes and this is the best, by far. Lets talk practical. I have three kids (9, 4, 0), I am working on my Masters Degree, and I am AD Navy.... I do not have extra time to dedicate to my already time consuming make-up addiction. Cleaning make-up brushes can easily take 30+ minutes and takes newly cleaned brushes out of commission for the duration of the time it takes for them to dry. For me, not being able to use the make-up tools I have spent so much money on makes me crazy. The inconvenience alone has caused me to purchase extra brushes just so I can keep putting my face on; my husband thinks I just like spending money on make-up... and really he is right but we won't tell him that. With this product the excuses are gone! This tool effortlessly cleans brushes. I tested the limits. I have an IT Cosmetics brush which the bristles were originally white. I used it with liquid foundation and didn't clean it. It was left for several months.... I just hadn't got around to cleaning it- it was pretty nasty. After using this product it is now as if it was never used! Soft and white. I was so impressed. I will admit, I used detergent and had to do it three times... but the brush was completely covered with foundation that had solidified essentially. I was able to clean 10 brushes within 10 minutes ... AND THEY WERE ALL DRY and ready for immediate use!!!!!!! This product is a game changer and a must have for any girl who doesn't want to waste time cleaning a brush then have to wait for said brush to dry.

Not a glass bowl!!
I chose this specific model because it is one of the few that is supposed to have a glass bowl. That's why I paid the extra money. It's mentioned in reviews, etc... I received mine today, and it's not glass! Not only that but the plastic is deformed. There are bumps as if it has melted. There seems to be an issue with the charging dock as well. Do yourself a favour: go with the original StylePro or choose a cheap battery operated model. This set won't give you better quality. It is just more expensive. Disappointing.

BROKE in less than 3 months
worked well 4 times, then I just used again tonight and the battery died. So I charged it completely and it worked for 3 seconds and died again. What a waste of money.
