I have no idea why I was asked to rate stretch and softness. Neither apply to the product. The forms are rigid and do not stretch. They are as they are intended to be--stays for a couch slipcover.

These grips don't really grip bit use their shape to hold stretch covers in place. Their rigidity is good for that but they can't get deep enough in the gap between the cushion and arm/back because of how furniture is made now. I managed to keep rotating the tri-corner shape until I was able to firmly wedge it in the gap. Sometimes it's still visible and others it's not. Once in a while, it comes out of the gap and has to be pushed back in. Overall, still a pretty good piece of engineering to hold a stretch cover in place.

I recently purchased the Slipcover Grips for Sofa and unfortunately, I have not been very impressed with their performance. While I was excited to try these out and keep my slipcovers in place, they just haven't lived up to my expectations.First of all, the silicone material is not as durable as advertised. After just a few days of use, I noticed that the grips were starting to tear and lose their shape. This was disappointing as I had expected them to last longer, especially for the price.Secondly, I found that the grips did not fit my sofa as well as I had hoped. They were either too tight and caused my slipcover to wrinkle, or too loose and did not hold it in place at all. This inconsistency made it difficult to achieve a smooth and neat look for my sofa.But the biggest issue for me was that these grips didn't really stay in place. I constantly had to readjust them, and even then, they didn't prevent my slipcovers from shifting and bunching up. It was frustrating to have to keep fixing them every time someone sat on the sofa.I also have to mention that I am not a fan of the design. The bulky grips are quite noticeable and take away from the overall aesthetic of my sofa. I was expecting a more discreet solution to keeping my slipcovers in place.One positive aspect of these grips is that they do help prevent my slipcovers from slipping off when my dog jumps on the sofa. But even with that, I don't think it's worth the hassle of constantly adjusting them.Overall, I would not recommend the Slipcover Grips for Sofa. They are not as durable, effective, or aesthetically pleasing as I had hoped. I would suggest looking for alternative options to keep your slipcovers in place, as these grips just don't cut it.

These don’t stay put whatsoever in my sofa. I used them correctly but as soon as you sit down they pop out. I have a cover covering the bottoms of my sectional, where I used these, and then separate covers on the cushions. Waste of money for me unfortunately

This product is made well, but does not hold the slip cover in place when you sit on the couch or chair. Very hard to push down in crevice of furniture and doesn't hold. Would not recommend.

I lost all my foam cover holders and ordered these to replace them. These are far better than the foam ones. My dog would dig the foam ones out but he can’t get these out. They hold the cover in place very well.

If you tuck them all the way down they work great! Haven’t had to adjust the cover at all since I got them a week ago!

Loved these 🥰 they fit beautifully and keep my slip cover in place. My cover came with cardboard ones and they were useless. These don’t slip out when you sit at all.

As soon as you sit down within a few minutes all of a sudden you feel them digging into your lower back. They come up no matter how far you push them down. You can tell they are very well-made, but they don’t work for couch covers. I have read a review before I purchased them saying something similar to this, but I decided to chance it because people have said things about other items from Amazon I had no problems like they did but with this product I did don’t waste your money
