Slendertone Arms Tricep Toning Accessory for Women

It only does the triceps, as the description says; which it great as it is just what I wanted.I have used it a few times as I purchased it last week. So far I can only reach 50 out of 100 in intensity; so plenty of power in it!I think it works. Early for me to say, but it certainly feels like I have done a good workout after using them.

I admit I was sceptical about how much good this would actually do to my bingo wings, but after 2 weeks of using it as per the instruction manual, my arms are more toned and my muscles are stronger. I am using it alongside a short daily run with weights, and I also do 50 tricep dips every day, but I do think the Slendertone has helped.How this works: it's basically two stiff shells, to which you attach the sticky pads which conduct the electrical impulses, which you then attach to the back of each arm. (The pads are very sticky, meaning it can be a bit of a faff to take the things on and off and strap them on with the Velcro straps, but you do soon get used to it.)You attach the product to your Slendertone controller (not provided - I had bought Slendertone abs system, so already had it) and get toning. On the lower intensities, it feels like a tingling - not unlike pins and needles - and as you increase the intensity, it increases to a smooth contraction of the muscles. You're told not to have it on such a high intensity it's uncomfortable, but you will find as the muscles develop you'll be able to take higher intensities fairly quickly.After completing each workout, I personally don't have achy muscles - not sure if this is a good or bad thing! but I do feel like my muscles have worked out. There are warm-up and cool-down sections to each programme so maybe it's that.The reason I've given it only a four-star review is because it's a faff to put on and take off, and because you have to hold the controller in your hands during the exercise (the wires come down your two arms in front of you and connect at the controller, there is no pocket for it as with the shorts or belt) you're limited what you can do when the belt's on. I also don't think it works as fast as either the abs belt or the shorts.And my final gripe is that after each workout, you're meant to save the plastic covers for the sticky pads, to stop them drying out. Well, I've done this, but the pads are still drying out fairly quickly and I will have to replace the pads quite soon after just 2 weeks of use.But these things are fairly minor, when taking into account that I'm getting more toned arms in weeks, with little effort on my part. To be honest, if I hadn't got the belt or shorts this would be a 5 star review, but compared with them it's not as easy to use or effective. But it still works, and the bottom line is, yes, to any fellow bingo-winger out there, it's worth it.

Before reviewing Slendertone I think it's fair to mention what the product isn't. Slendertone is not a substitute for the gym, a weight-loss system or a gadget to reduce the appearance of cellulite, so if you're looking to achieve any of those results you will be disappointed. However, what Slendertone can achieve, with regular use, is mild toning. You certainly won't look like an athlete, but it can help with the battle against gravity!I already owned the Slendertone shorts system and knew this was a very good quality product. The arms are easier to tone than thighs, so I thought I would get better results from this system than the shorts and, for me, I was right!The system is easy to use, but when purchasing make sure you already have the controller!! I found the arm garments easy to put on and remove but I think it's fair to say you won't be able to wear this system and carry on with tasks around the house - like you can to a certain degree with the shorts. The settings are quite strong and stimulate the muscles to straighten the arm voluntarily. You won't be able to sit with a cup of tea unless you want to wear it!Also, as a beginner you won't be able to set the controller particularly high. I've been involved in sport for a long time and I can't set it much above 35! How anyone could get to 99 I will never know. Also the power surges can be a little painful. It's not a terrible pain but you are aware of the surges and it creates a definite harsh tingle against the skin. This increases as you set the controller higher.If you can stick with this you will see results. I've been using the system for 3-4 weeks and can see a difference. I'm over 40 and had noticed the skin on my arms was starting to look less than youthful due to lack of toning. This has improved as the skin on the front of my arms looks "lifted" and the back of my arms look and feel firmer.I'm sticking with it, especially with the better weather on the way and my summer wardrobe calling me!Therefore my overall conclusion on this system is that with regular use you will see results, but the harsh tingling pain can be off-putting.

Extremely disappointed the product requires charging but does not come with a charger or controller.. It is therefore totally useless and my wife feels like a child at Christmas given a battery operated toy with no batteries. Looking at the connector it is an extremely specialised piece of kit and will be accordingly priced. Poor do Slendertone and equally poor Amazon for not warning of this 0/10Now I know the charger and controller cost £73.99 I feel aggrieved at this blatant rip off- what looks like a reasonable £38 gift has left a bitter taste at £112. Shame on you Amazon and Slendertone.

I have been using this for just under a week and can feel and see a difference already.It is a very strange sensation - sending impulses down the arms - right to the fingers. Don’t plan on sitting with a coffee while using this!

Funziona perfettamente ma i ricambi durano veramente poco...e consumandosi si rischia di farsi del male provocando capillari! Io ho ricomprato i ricambi solamente dopo pochi usi.Ma con i cuscinetti nuovi funziona bene!

Das Anlegen der Arm-Manschetten ist anfangs gewöhnungsbedürftig, ansonsten zu empfehlen.

Je connaissais déjà la marque, plutôt que de m orienter vers un modèle moins cher qui donne des décharges au lieu de faire son travail, c est sans hésitation que j ai acheté ce produit.1 semaine à le faire tous les jours pendant 20min et je commence déjà à sentir des effets. Pas visuellement bien sûr, mais au toucher, mes bras sont plus fermes...Nul doute que dans un mois, ce sera bien différent.Le seul bémol est pour les électrodes qui ont l air de s'user facilement, donc à remplacer tous les mois (13e).Marque à acheter les yeux fermés, je commence la ceinture à abdo bientôt et certainement le shorty.

Je commence dans l'EMS. Souffrant d'une maladie qui ne me permet plus de faire du sport et de bouger comme avant. J'ai longtemps fais du 100 et 200 mètres en compétition et du judo, et je souffrais du fait de perdre ma masse musculaire. depuis 2 mois et demi je fais de l'Ems chez moi. J'avais de gros doutes. Je peux le dire maintenant, totalement injustifiés. C'est une technologie super et je suis entièrement satisfaite de Slendertone bras. les bras se raffermissent dès les premières séances.
