Paper Quilling

Entiendo que por temas de pandemia, el libro ha llegado casi con 1 año de demora. Más allá de eso, el libro está en buen estado, bien empacado. Estoy muy satisfecha con el producto

It's OK in terms of directions, if you're a beginner it will be helpful, but it was very old fashioned & unsophisticated in terms of projects offered. The designs are frowzy - like quilling for grandma! There's no interesting shaping or even using more than one color at a time, eg/ all the flower petals are made using just one shade, the leaves don't have mixed colors. If you're looking to do modern designs with lots of outlining, swooping etc. I recommend Sena Runa's books.

Based on other reviews I was hoping to find some new designs that were more in my skill level--"Advanced Beginner". However I must describe this book's skill level is more toward "Advanced Intermediate". I will need to improve my quilling before attempting many of the patterns shown. To the author's credit the book does begin with information about a variety of tools and their uses, and shows techniques to achieve various quilled shapes.The patterns shown are beautiful and I hope to gain enough skill to be able to complete most of the designs. I would recommend this book to friends, but would advise them to expect fairly advanced patterns.

If you enjoy Quilling, this is one more book that you should have in your library! The pictures and instructions are clear and easy to follow. A good book for the newbie or the experienced Quiller, as there is something for everyone in it. I like that I own it because I will often go back to look at a project or to refer to Ms. Johnston's expertise!

Excellent Quilling Book. Highly recommended. It includes projects for new quillers--and really gorgeous quilling by experts as inspiration.
