Outstanding!
I've had these slippers for about 6 months now and still love them. I frequently grab them over my proper shoes when tooling around just outside of the house - this includes getting the mail which is a 100 yard walk down a gravel and dirt path and back again. The rubber sole is fairly stiff but does not make noise against our wooden floors the way plastic would. It's quite a good one (I've had tennis shoes with junkier soles, in fact.) - Nothing you'd walk over sharp objects with (just as you'd not in cheap tennis shoes) but I've had no problem over broken, rocky bits of driveway. You do want to avoid walking through anything wet ... like wet grass. These soak up the water like a sponge. By the time you realize it through your fur lining they are totally drenched and take a while to dry out.(I can't believe I am admitting this but...) These booties are so warm and comfortable that I once forgot myself and went out to shovel snow in them. I realized before they had a chance to soak any moisture in, but that was when I learned that they have fairly decent grip on slippery surfaces.I've abused them terribly so they look rather aged, but are fit and fine with no snags or holes. (I've not attempted to wash them at all so don't know how they'd fare through that.) The fit /has/ loosened up over the past 6 months and while I'd not mind having them a tad snugger, I do feel perfectly secure wearing them to traverse our steep and uneven basement stairs, even when carrying a basket of laundry (well, as safe as one can on those stairs!) I've managed to completely flatten the "fur" on the bottom (I'm pretty heavy) which is unfortunate, but they still have a nice "cush" to them from the foam beneath.I have poor circulation so my feet are usually quite cold. These are wonderfully warm yet my feet never sweat in them. They are quite soft and warm; I can't imagine buying any other type from here on out. I may try a smaller size next time, though, now that I know they will loosen up.

Great Slippers, with a Caveat
These are really comfortable, apparently well-made slippers. They appear to be really nice quality too. Not sure about the arch support. There's a little arch support, but nothing substantial. They are warm and cushy and the rubber sole is nice because I walk outside to get the mail or whatever. The one complaint I have about the slipper is sizing. The sizing is wonky. A lot of people have said they run small. I found they run large. I wear a 9.5 in athletic shoes and a 10 in dress shoes, so I ordered size 9.5 - 10.5. They were really big and flopping off my heels. I had to return them. So I exchanged them for the 8-9, and they BARELY fit. They are verging on too small. My toes are right up against the front. I decided to keep them because I figure they will probably stretch out a bit after I wear them for awhile and I do really like them a lot overall.Overall I would recommend them, but be prepared that you may have to return them once or twice to find the right size.

Fuzzy Feelings!
3rd pair of Acorns, won't buy anything else! I work at home and live in these! I love that they are high to keep your ankles warm. They last forever (I was waiting for my old pair to wear out so I could get this pair...but they did so got new pair anyway as I like them so much. They have a soft rubber sole so you CAN go outside in them if you want to dash out...even in rain. And they can be washed in the washing machine. What more can you want in a slipper?Only thing is sizing...this particular style fits a litte smaller than previous versions. I think because the fur behind the heel pushes the foot forward, so it hits the toes sooner...so a women's medium size 6 1/2-7 1/2 is really more size 6-7. Not a problem in other styles I've had.

Toasty feet in New England
About these slippers....with winter approaching here in New England, I needed to purchase new slippers and happened upon these little gems. My feet are so toasty in them and the soles are nice and grippy. The only criticism I have is that they run a bit small. But as you know slippers tend to stretch out after being worn a bit. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these again. My slippers are my favorite "shoe" in the closet and these Acorn booties are certainly my new favorites!!!

LOVE THESE!
I bought these to replace a pair of ACORN Women's Chinchilla Booties (older style) that I had completely worn out. They are very warm, very comfortable, and very durable. I have been wearing these for a couple of months now and they still look and feel great. I wear them all day long(I work from home) and even outside to get the mail. I even wore them once to the grocery store because they are so warm and comfortable that I forgot I wasn't wearing shoes. They have a hard plastic sole that holds up to lots of wear and they look almost like they could be boots.I am thrilled with them and recommend them highly.

They okay
I bought my acorn slipper over a year ago. I really liked the style, the color, and thoughts that would last for more then one year. In six months the so called fur inside the slipper started to come out in chunks. The support the slipper was to give lasted 3 months before it was gone. Now don't get me wrong I really like the ones I got and still wear them. But they never once kept my cold feet warm not once. Yet, I am one them people that has ice for blood so I am naturally cold blooded person. I got these to keep my feet warm and it failed. One of the many reasons i got these were for the warmth. But, I have to say that since the pair I got failed so bad at doing what I hope they do has put me off in wanting to buy another pair of Acorn anything. As we know there is always a good pair we get and bad pair and it looks like I got the bad pair which makes me sad that I am once more looking for another pair of slipper since Acorn slippers failed.

Warmest Softest Slippers ever!!!
I was hesitant to purchase these because of the price. I read the other reviews and decided to give them a try. Boy am I glad that I did! I am one of those people whose toes are always cold. These are so soft and warm that I do not want to take them off. I even wore them to my mother in laws house for christmas dinner! If you are looking for slippers to keep your feet warm, I highly recommend these!
