So impressed
I usually buy a well known and more expensive brand of toned paper but thought I'd give this a try! I am extremely impressed with this paper. Pencil bends beautifully and erases well I love that you get more than one shade to use will definitely buy again

Warped pages
The pages in the sketch book are warped as if they have got very wet and then been dried out. The bumps on the page are substantial enough to throw out your line when drawing. Really poor

Best quality sketch pads.
The media could not be loaded. I love these artgecko pads. I first purchased one that was grey throughout and loved it so I thought I’d get another with different shades of coloured card. It’s perfect for me. They are A4 sized. I particularly wanted black as I had a few ideas for creatures of the night hence why I have just started a fox. I use coloured pencils and it’s honestly so perfect when using this medium. The card sheets are smooth ( no discernible texture) and I love how the pad feels in my hands. I tend to sketch on my lap so not on a desk or table. Because this pad is so robust it doesn’t bend and the green outer sleeve protects the outer face board. The spiral middle means you can fold it completely back on itself. When removing a sketch I personally use scissors to cut along the spiral edge. The card pages are so thick you could bend the metal spiral by just pulling the page out or worse still bend your finished piece. This particular pad has 40 pages and you could draw on both sides of a page.hence 80 pages mentioned in the write up. You get 10 light grey, 10 buff, 10 black and 10 darker grey…almost a greenish It’s perfect for my needs and I will be ordering more I’m sure. You could use paint on these sheets or glue stuff on or use felt tips. It’s strong enough to be used for whatever you want. You could even make stencils out of them …something I have done using a scalpel. Money wise it’s a great value because it’s very versatile and great quality. I highly recommend.
