The burgundy 3 piece duvet set exceeded my expectation. This is my second purchase from Kotton Culture and I couldn't be more delighted. Though it is just the 600 TC its super soft out of the package, crazy soft for having not been washed yet. I am a little new to good quality sheets and bedding but now that I have tried Kotton Culture's products I AM NEVER GOING BACK TO WALMART OR BED BATH AND BEYOND FOR BEDDING AGAIN! This is my bedding company now.The burgundy color is deep and dark, and barely bled at all when I washed it before becoming clear. I have this on my king-sized canopy bed along side the super dark grey eygyptian cotton 1000 TC sheets and it is quite a combo. I noticed some people complain about a "chemical smell" but to me it just seemed like a regular factory smell, I think most people wash their stuff before they use it anyhow, and I hand washed both orders before using and they smell perfectly good (just like detergent, so I am unsure of why someone would be bothered having to wash their covers before using?)I actually had a misunderstanding with my orders, because customs separated them and they arrived a day or two apart because they repackaged after x-ray and physical inspection, and even though I came at the seller a little angry, they were extremely kind and courteous, they could not have been more professional (I wish more third-party sellers took customer service this seriously!)All-in-all I HIGHLY suggest you purchase these Kotton Culture products and ignore any comments about "Thin sheets" those people are crazy, the sheet set I ordered before this duvet were insanely thick! (...and yet the feel of the sheet under my duvet was actually sleeping cooler than when I just used a cheap blanket with no sheet, I do not have to hang my feet out from under the covers like I used to, defies logic... must be in the weave.) And this duvet set I am currently reviewing is super thick on its own. If you are like me and you spent hours looking for a duvet that was actually thick and fluffy, this is the duvet set to cover it! It is pretty thick and padded on its own for just a duvet!Also, side-note... since this does travel through customs and some foreign countries, if something does happen and you have to approach the seller, there is no need to already be on guard and be angry ahead of time like I was (before they disarmed me with kindness, I hate to admit I came at them sideways but I have a bias against third-party sellers and was expecting the worst!) No, a simple polite request is all you need and the seller will get back to you quickly intent on solving your issue. So to sum it up, these are amazing Duvet sets or at least the two orders I made are magnificent! I do not think you will be disappointed if you purchase. I wasn't.

I purchased and used this duvet cover for years. It finally started to wear down so I wanted to buy a replacement since I loved this duvet cover so much. I ordered the 2nd one, received it & washed it and the zipper broke while zipping it up. This was the very first time I was even putting the duvet cover on so I was really disappointed, especially since I loved my other one so much.I reached out to the company via email as it says to do on their website, waited a week and followed up. I never heard anything back. I wanted to give the company a chance to rectify the situation before leaving a review.I will not be repurchasing again in the future. The quality is no longer what it used to be.

I searched high and low (and bought and returned many duvet covers) to find the "right" color and quality. It took buying 3 of the wrong ones to get to this perfect one.!I wanted a teal color, but found out the hard way that there are many shades of teal. I wanted one that was a deep color and not a light, kid-color shade of blue/green that the first 3 duvet covers from other sellers came in. Kotton Culture's teal is a beautiful, dark, deep and rich. It looks so lush and high quality on my bed. I have a few lighter-colored throw pillows on the bed to match up with the various shades of teal from pictures in my bedroom and I love the way this duvet is the center point of everything.It does have very sturdy teal-ties in every corner (but none in the center) ... I haven't washed it yet b/c I was so excited to put it on my bed, but given the construction of the cover, I don't expect any issues at all. An extra note regarding the zipper is that it's very well hidden and actually has two zippers that meet in the middle so you're not fighting with one long zipper.The pillow covers are for queen-sized pillows but my standard sized pillows look fine in them as they lie flat on my bed.Even though I had to pay an extra $19.99 for shipping (not sure why this only applies to some SKUs), it was totally worth it to me to find such a great, high quality set!One strange caveat though is that it does seem to attract my dog's hair. I noticed a few other reviews that also mentioned this, so as much as I love my comforter and the color, I wish I had picked a lighter color so it didn't show the dog hair and slobber stains so much!

This was just OK. I’m returning it because it feels very thin to me. It really feels thinner than the cotton sheets that are on my bed. I’m afraid it may get holes in it easily. Also, I know it says it’s cotton, but it doesn’t feel like cotton. It feels silky smooth, which also isn’t what I was going for.
