Outstanding Analysis and Enjoyable Read
Excellent and entertaining read if you're trying to understand how we have fallen into this mask/vaccine mandate morass and what we can to do to reverse course back to normalcy. Dr. McDonald gets right to the point by revealing in plain-spoken language how and why fear, hysteria, and paranoia have infected American society which undoubtedly paved the way for the lunacy we're forced to currently endure. I read the entire book in two sittings. The author is motivating and provides tips throughout on how parents can push back against moronic school policies that are damaging the mental health of their children.

A Reminder to Live in Reality
A well-sourced read about the descent into a constant state of fear that those of us who live in some areas can attest to. Dr. McDonald (who I have met) gets to the heart of the matter vis a vis our out-of-proportion response to the Covid virus, whose lethality is clear, but which doesn't match the level of hysteria in LA."When I begin my work with patients, I remind them that everything starts with a shared commitment to reality. The goal of therapy is not to feel good—it is to live in reality, regardless of how it may feel."This book is a good way to start talking ourselves off the ledge.

Is it me? Or is it society?
As one of only a few women I know that are actively vocal against the mask and vaccine mandates, this read helped me understand what is going on as a whole in our society today, what led us here, and how we can possibly get out of it.

This book is SO insightful.....
Thank you Dr. McDonald for sharing the broader perspective on the fear pandemic. As a equine learning facilitator and healer, I can confirm, first hand we are experiencing a mental health crisis. So many adults and kids are anxious, depressed, uncertain and have stopped trusting their own inner guidance. The "what if" of fear, has scared people to stay to themselves. I hope from reading this book, others may begin to see how we are designed for connection, and how the media's narrative has damaged people's sense of security and has isolated us and stopped us from trusting ourselves and our own body's ability to heal. As the German officer, Hermann Goering, a principal architect of Germany’s Nazi police state under the Third Reich, said: “The only thing that needs to be done to enslave people is to scare them." Dr. McDonald's book spells out in a clear and concise way, the ways we have slowly been brought into submission and compliance based on not-so-accurate messaging. There is hope though.... stay with it and you will realize you have the power to make informed, independent choices and stay healthy.

Very important to understand and be aware of
Great read! I purchased multiple copies to share with friends and family. During these unprecedented times, the book opens the eyes to concepts mostly foreign to this country. It is a must-read for all who still believe that we live in a free country. People need to be aware that different perspectives are silenced and misrepresented to drive a single-minded narrative. The book also underscores other related social phenomena that feed the current state of fear, panic, hysteria, and separation within families and communities. Dr. McDonald has done an excellent job presenting the facts supported by references, and his use of humor made the book easy and captivating to read in such difficult times for this country. His courage and willingness to reach out beyond the mainstream media should be appreciated and propagated.

Exposing the problem of our times
Clearly our problems today are all rooted in corruption and this book helps to reveal and shed light on some of it, from the eyes of a physician growing up in America. Highly recommend!

Outstanding explanation of the recent events
It is amazing what the people got away with under the guise of safety. Worth every penny and only 100 pages. Fear is not worth surrendering civil liberties and that is what everyone did.
