Great built quality; narrow out-of-the-box fit requiring lengthy break-in time
Positives: The construction of these Puma Evotouch boots are top-notch. The leather is thin, yet soft and supple. The upper is glued well to the sole plate. The Evoknit sock and liner extends throughout the underside of the upper, providing a high level of comfort. Together with the lacing system, the Evoknit sock also provides a secure lock-down, surprisingly almost similar to that of a speed boot (even after considerable break-in and wear time). The overall design is also simple, yet classy ('black-silver' colourway). The boots are also wearable without the provided insole; this is especially great for players who likes better 'ground-feel'.Negatives: The sole plate and stud pattern provides good traction; however, the sole plate may be a bit too stiff for my liking. Also, the fit out of the box is very narrow. I have slightly wide feet and they felt extremely tight initially. For maximum comfort, the break-in time for my personal pair was extremely lengthy (~ 4-5 hours with light movements). Of course, the positive aspect of this approach (spending a long time break-in time on leather boots) is that one gets an extremely snug, yet comfortable fit once the leather upper has softened and moulded specifically to the shape of your feet. Additionally, the external heel counter does not provide the best heel lock-down in my opinion; it is decent but its low, curved design does cause undesirable (slight) chafing during initial wear. A thick socks might easily overcome this issue especially for the first few wears during game time. Lastly, the built-quality of the aglet is also sub-par; they feel rather flimsy, hence, one has to be really careful when re-lacing or tying the boots.

Awesome leather boot/cleat
This is a really great leather boot. Has amazing pop when striking the ball. The leather is very soft and flexible, and the sock liner Puma Net, is really a great feature. The sole plate is very responsive, and has great flex patterns. I am curious as to why Puma killed this line off after so much anticipation and innovation went into this boot/cleat. The insole with the base plate has a great deal of absorption that does not interfere with the feel of the boot/cleat and really helps in long play times. This boot came out as a $300 boot, and now is only $70 due to the kill off of this boot. Overall it is a great boot for all the tech that is in it, and the price is perfect too.

Perfect if you want to get better just by making a purchase
Great lightweight shoes with the kangaroo leather benefit! Quick to break in. I was a little apprehensive about the sock liner but this I have found is a very comfortable and nice feature. Great touch on the ball and traction is nothing to complain about. These seem to be a little more narrow than your typical Puma cleat though but I still managed to fit my overly fat foot into them just fine. Another cool thing is the insoles can be taken out and they can be worn comfortably without the insoles. There is a built-in insole that is non-removable. Not all may like that but if you don't, just keep the insole in.

Most comfortable cleat!
My 17 yr old son purchased these and says they are the most comfortable soccer cleats he's ever worn. He can go the whole game and his feet never hurt. He says all the other cleats he's worn have hurt his feet to some degree by the end of a game....and he's worn a lot of cleats.

Precision touch, extreme comfort ... best boots of the year...
Lightweight kanagroo leather with a modern sock twist. Very comfortable, took 45 mins to break in. Form fit to your feet, excellent quality. I'm very surprised at the fit and lock down from the evoknit, blows both Nike and adidas collared offerings out of the water. I can't be more pleased ... I really think this is the best boot of the year.

Ouch
This is the first pair of Puma's that we have purchased. Major blisters first time worn from something rough on the heels of both shoes. Not typical of any Addida's brand that we have purchased.

A very good, innovative cleat for much cheaper than the other brands.
A very good, innovative cleat for much cheaper than the other brands. The inner sock is good but needs to be removable so it can be cleaned.

Great for wide feet!
This is second pair of these I have purchased for my 12 year old. He has a wider forefoot and Nike, most Adidas and Under Armour seem to be too narrow for him. He plays American football running back position and says it feels like they are already broken in right out of the box. Only bummer? They no longer make this model, so it's very difficult to find the correct size.
