I'd looked around for a while for a pair of boots to wear all day in inclement weather. I found them! They are smart enough to wear in various circumstances and completely weather proof for exploring the city in rain or snow. The soles and fit make them lovely to wear all day

Tight fit for a size 9. Nice boots. Well made, look good, warm and waterproof.

As per my normal size fitting. Rather wide fitting but that suits my feet.

Would not consider this a "winter boot" in a typical Canadian winter. The boot lacks any significant insulation and any attempts to put on a wool or heavy sock would make wearing uncomfortable as the boot is quite narrow. If left untied and sized a bit larger so the feet can move around makes the boot warmer but not safe. With that being said, I absolutely love the boot and look forward to wearing it at the end of next summer and fall. Out of the box the boot fit like a glove and was a delight to walk on...no break-in required. Would highly recommend as a "Fall" boot and one that you could walk all day long with a smile.
