Best low carb biscuit mix!
Iāve looked long and hard for a low carb biscuit mix that had great texture and taste. This is it! Iāve bought it again, because itās so good. Grating frozen butter and then putting it back in the freezer for a few minutes keeps it cold. After combining all ingredients I laminated the dough per the directions by folding and rolling the dough four times. I cut the biscuits with a biscuit cutter, and put on a sheet pan and back into the freezer. Gave it a few minutes before removing and putting into a preheated oven. The biscuits bake up beautifully and weāre the equal of regular biscuits. Youāll love them!

Butter Biscuits
These are very good biscuits. They are very buttery as they have a whole stick of butter in them (better than the pancakes by this company). It says to make twelve but I made 6 instead as I wanted them larger and didnāt bother rolling them out- I did drop biscuits and they turned out just fine.

Strawberry Shortcakes
These were a little dry but I followed other advice and made ādrop biscuitsā. To combat the lack of moisture, I decided to use ChocZero strawberry jam on the biscuit, topped it with Breyers Carb Smart vanilla ice cream and finished it with strawberries and whipped cream. I used an app to track net carbs and while I didnāt do it every evening, I put the biscuits in a storage container so theyād last and ate them now and again. I also shared some with a family member whoās also on keto. Bottom line? I bought them again solely for the strawberry shortcakes. I think they can stand to cost a bit less since theyāre not even moist.

They also raised my glucose
I love the biscuits. 5 of them had mold so I threw them out.

Way better tasting than I thought
Easy to mix, is a bit messy rolling out with the butter but no different from regular flour biscuits. Tasted great. You can tell there is a bunch of fiber in them so don't eat the whole batch in a day even though the taste makes it hard not too. Good job Scotty's.

2 carbs per biscuit? I doubt it.
First of all... I'm on a crash diet to lose some weight before surgery next month. I've been eating almost zero net carbs. For the past two weeks I've eaten nothing but summer sausage, celery, tilapia, scallops, and an occasional egg. My calorie count each day has been between 250 and 500, and I've been losing 0.5 pounds to 1.4 pounds every day. In 14 days I've lost 13.8 pounds.I was getting bored with what I was eating, so I searched for "keto" on Amazon. These looked good, and with 2 grams of carbs per biscuit, I figured I could eat two and not have a negative impact on my diet. I added them to my cart, and I also bought some shiritaki noodles, which are supposed to have 0 grams of net carbs. On Saturday night I made the noodles, which were delicious with a garlic cream and scallop sauce. The next day when I weighed myself I was expect not quite as much weight loss, simply due to the weight of the noodles in my belly. But I still lost 0.6 pounds that day.The next morning I made these biscuits. I'll get to the quality in just a minute, but other than the two biscuits I ate very little that day. These biscuits are supposed to be 90 calories and 2 grams of carbs each. I had nothing else to eat until that evening when I had one tilapia filet (110 calories 0 carbs). and a stick of celery (5.6 calories and 0.6 carbs). So in total, if the nutrition information on the package of biscuits is correct, I had consumed about 295 calories yesterday, and <5 grams of carbs...But this morning, when I weighed myself, I had GAINED 0.3 pounds! I haven't lost less than 0.5 in over two weeks, but I suddenly GAINED 0.3 in one day. On a starvation diet! The only thing I can think of that could have caused this is the biscuits. Carbs combine with water to form glycogen, which is the "water weight" people lose when they first start dieting. It's my opinion, based on my experience, that these biscuits contain more carbs than stated on the packaging, which caused my to fall out of ketosis and gain weight.I put the rest of the biscuits in the freezer. I'll eat two more in about a week and see what happens. If I gain weight again, the rest are going in the trash. I'll update this review then.In regards to the flavor, they were just OK. They did not rise at all, so the cooked biscuits were very flat and dense. If they are truly Keto biscuits, then I would eat them just for variety. But I question whether they are truly Keto, and if I'm going to eat a non-Keto biscuit, I want it to be a good one.

Not for us
Texture was okay. Had an aftertaste. My kids wouldnāt eat them and my stomach has been gurgling all day since eating them. Also, for the price I was expecting something bigger, but this only makes one batch of 12 biscuits. 2 stars because if you can handle artificial sweeteners without issue and need something keto, you might be okay with them.
