I was still carrying my summer white purse as my everyday purse in late September and not really "feeling" any of the darker colored fall/winter purses in my closet. I always wanted one those purses with the top clasp so when I saw this pop up as a suggestion for something I would like in my Amazon feed and that it was only 20 bucks, I got it. I knew it was pleather but I just wanted something different. As you can see in my photo, it doesn't look as great as the Amazon photo but I didn't expect it to look super high.end for the price. It kind of puckers a little and doesn't stand up as straight as in their photo but, for the price, it's nice. It's lined and I haven't had any problems so far with the clasp coming open as some reviewers mention. It is roomy too. If you are looking for an organizer purse, this isn't for you. On the interior, there's two shallow open pockets on one side and a small zippered compartment (for loose change, or something small and not too bulky) on the other side. There are no exterior pockets. The two shallow compartments are too small for a cell phone. I use the smallest to hold a spare car key that I use when I get car maintenance because I don't like giving strangers my entire set of keys. The other one has a spare "covid mask" in it and it barely fits. The top sticks out. But for me, it works because I only carry a wallet, keys, phone, small compact and 2 or 3 other small items. I have a ton of room left. The only downside might be that second smaller strap that would allow you to carry this as a handbag 👜 instead of a crossbody purse or shoulder bag. It doesnt stand up and out of the way like the Amazon pic. It hangs down as shown in my pic. It gets in the way of the clasp sometimes and if you're in a hurry, could cause you to think you've closed it when you haven't. If you snap it shut and that strap has fallen partly inside, it will actually force the purse back open and you may not notice. This has already happened to me once. This might be why some reviewers complained of it coming open. I'll probably just remove it. Other than that, I'm satisfied with my purchase and I do love the retro look of the clasp. Reminds me of my grandmother's era and I like the simplicity and femininity of it. I can just snap it closed. No zipper to worry out and as long as you make sure it is shut, no worries about your stuff falling out or being exposed to prying eyes like with those open top style purses or those ones with just a single center snap. I may look around for other bags with retro hardware like this.

I thought it was beautiful until the clasp broke. The very first day I used it.

Great vintage look. Side pockets are a little short. The issue is the clasp will not stay closed. Feels secure when closed then when you carry it pops open. I have tried bending the clasp but did not make a difference. If the bag was full everything would fall out. Would not buy or recommend.

I really like my purse, it is a pretty brown. The kiss closure is not very tight and it keeps popping open! But I keep using it!

While this is an absolutely adorable purse, it's got a slight design flaw. If you put more than just bare minimum items in it... it will pop open while you are walking around and you risk dumping the entire contents out. I tried 2 of these purses to make sure it wasn't just a defect in the first purse. I put less items in the 2nd purse and it still popped open without warning and I about dumped the content of the purse in the floor. As much as I LOVE this medium sized purse, I cannot recommend it for carrying anything more than a couple of hankerchiefs, a chapstick and maybe a checkbook. Too bad.
