I found myself skipping around a little bit to seek out information I had not already learned on my own through independent research or trial and error. The end of the book was better suited for me as I had wonderful information about various foods, recipes, and a menu. Here is why I will recommend this book to anyone interested. I think Darin really cares about the subject and the folks he shares it with. Are we not all ready for some positive energy and good healthy suggestions on living a healthier life? A 'kick-ass' life? Dietitian Recommended, the BEST resource I can find to help anyone and everyone!
I'm a dietitian, a certified health coach and a Beachbody coach. Simply thank you Darin Olien!
I know all the information given in this book already and practicing almost all of it many years. But there is a gap in between times by not doing it constantly because of doing the same thing over and over again becomes boring unfortunately! Choosing these rules as a life style in our society is very hard to follow! But writer puts his awesome style of writing in it with a big heart and love, it is a constant reminder to all of us that we must choose to live and teach others the way how our body works and what it needs. Excellent book, easy to read for everyone to understand and follow. I will read this book again and again to never forget how correctly I must take care of my body. Thank you

Thank you Mr. Olien for writing such an informative book. I have always felt that good healthy food is our true medicine. After all, our bodies are amazing machines! This book is easy to read and comprehend and I love the sense of humor! I highly recommend this book if you want to turn your life around for the better with good healthy foods! Great recipes, too!

Simply "Super" read for anyone seeking greater health and wellness
My only regret about this book is that it did not exist when my health journey started 3 years ago! Every spare moment I have had these last few years has been spent reading and studying food and its affects on our bodies. Because we are all so different it's very hard to know what to follow. Everything I have covered has landed me right where Darin takes you in this book, cover to cover the most concise yet very detailed bible of healthy "SUPERLIFE". I love the way Darin makes it real, you know the man knows his stuff just by the way it is presented. It's broken down and simple for anyone to pick up and begin making changes to feeling better. Highly recommend this read for beginners on the road to health as well as those who think they are doing all they can already, it will likely teach you a few new ideas. Thank you Darin Olien!

Edible Enlightenment
This book breaks down your body in a way you've never thought about before, but everyone should know and have a clear understanding of. I highly recommend watching Darin in "Down to Earth w/ Zac Efron" on Netflix first to understand his mindset and where's he's coming from with his purpose for sharing this mind-blowing information. This is true inspiration to improve your life, with easy steps laid out for you to follow, and is a must read for everyone who is looking to do so. As with all advice, simply take what you like from it and leave anything you don't...what you do take will in fact make you feel eternally awesome.

Good Advice
I really enjoyed reading this book. I learned so many things that I really didn't comprehend before. We all know what we should be eating, but junk food is very enticing. This book explains the actual impact that bad eating has on our health over time. Very eye opening!

Un libro che dovrebbe diventare parte integrante del tessuto culturale relativo all'alimentazione, aiutando ciascun individuo a prendere le decisioni corrette nel momento in cui ci si siede a tavola. Ad oggi, infatti, vi è ancora un livello elevato di disinformazione sugli alimenti che vengono consumati quotidianamente, ma che alla fine non apportano nessun beneficio concreto al nostro corpo. L'autore in questo senso è riuscito davvero a farmi aprire gli occhi di fronte alla realtà dei fatti. Finalmente mi è chiaro che per condurre una vita sana e sfruttare appieno le potenzialità del nostro corpo occorre privilegiare tutti quegli alimenti naturali, non processati o alteratiti a livello chimico. L'informazione è tutto, non possiamo pretendere di stravolgere in positivo le nostre abitudini alimentari senza una guida che ci fornisca le indicazioni da seguire. Io in questo libro ho trovato la mia guida e spero possa essere d'aiuto a chiunque lo leggerà.

I bought this book after watching Darin Olien and Zac Efron show, Down to Earth. It does aspires me to do the same and that leads me to get the book.
