Strobe Stage Lights Sound Activated, Led Strobe Light 100W, Halloween Light Effect with Remote Control, Professional DJ Light - Party Lights for Banquet Host (RGB, 100W)

Using an Enttec DMX Pro interface to connect this to a program called Captivate. Works wonderfully. Trying to use it with an OP-Z and it doesn’t work yet, but still trying.

The price was right and it has a remote control that was a bonus it is also bright enough in all colors for my lighting effects for Halloween. It works great with music and sound effects.

The light is controlled via the back panel using the menu buttons. They include instructions for it but I found just playing around with the menus was easiest. I wish it did include a small remote controller but this is how they sell these units.it has quite a few settings. Including sound activated, strobe, and various different color changes.The first thing I noticed is that it is very well built. The housing is made of metal and there are no fans to worry about. This likely means the housing is used to dissipate the heat u like plastic housing units found elsewhere that use a fan.I bought this to use as a strobe. It is an 80W unit. The strobe was OK for a small room but I wanted a nice pop with the strobe. I ended up going with a 100w LED unit that was just that much more brighter and really felt like a traditional strobe. This unit felt like it was just a very bright light flashing in the room vs. leaving your eyes feeling like there is a strobe in the room. Unfortunately, the other unit is not as well built as this but will have to live with it.For a complementary light with many feature, this thing seems to be built like a tank.

I was very impressed with the price and ability of this unit. I had bought 4 at first, 2 had stopped working.So I returned the 2 and bought 6 more, meaning now I have 8 total. I was very pleased with the effects and thought those 2 were duds.After 2-3 weeks of owning the 8 units, ALL 8 units stopped working. Amazon did not allow me to return, refund, or replace the units. So now I am stuck with 8 lights that do not work, and no way to return them under manufacture warrantyI believe there is a power issue with these lights. The first 2 that broke, made a very loud pop sound while plugged in. This makes me believe there is a power routing issue inside of the light. I haven't had time to open the lights and try to fix it. Do Not Buy. Coming from someone who has dealt with 10 dead units.Amazon/Ecostrobe, if you see this please help make this right.
