I wasn't expecting much because of the mixed reviews but this little microscope works awesome.My child uses it indoors and out, all the time. This is the best, cheapest and fun gift ever.

Picture is deceiving. This is a very very small microscopic tool. I bought it for my grandson but it looks more like a toddler toy. It does not have much magnification. I think I would rather pay a little bit more and get some thing more beneficial

The light didn’t work. Probably the battery was dead even if we removed the plastic piece after we received. So, no performance, no value.

My 5 year old grandson thinks this is super. He tells me it works all the time and makes things easier to see. He recommends for other boys and girls.

I bought this to use at Cub Scout Family Camp and it was a hit!

I didn't pay attention to its size. It is much smaller than I expected. If a pocket-size microscope is what you want, it is then.

Grandson was excited to get this, only to find out it didn't work because both batteries were dead. That's not what you expect when you order products with batteries. You anticipate batteries might die after awhile, but they don't usually arrive dead!

So far one does not work (doesn't focus), and I don't know about the other one yet. Disappointed that this was not as advertised, especially since it was a gift. Hoping the other one works, but not holding my breath
