Bush Furniture Somerset Media Accent Cabinet, Rectangular, Sand Oak

I am so glad i chose this item! I thought the glazed glass door would be annoying but it helps make my stereo area look less cluttered. My components all fit inside with 1 shelf to spare - i put my turntable on top. Sturdy, no wobbling. Plenty of heat-venting openings at back. Might be better assembled by 2 people but i succeeded alone with patience. Instructions were pretty clear. I added washers when mounting the door, and those little stick-on protector thingamabobs so the door closes more gently.

Extremely happy with this purchase. The cabinet is very sturdy and looks great in my new room. It was not difficult to put together and is very stylish! Great deal!

Nice piece and easy to assemble. Some of the laminate peeled away but fixed with a little glue. I don't expect this to be an heirloom but works for the time being.

Bush is doing a fantastic job manufacturing their products. Installation is tedious but every part was included and fit perfectly. Bush is obviously using precision manufacturing.

Prices are outrages for furniture now. This stsnd/cabinet really is low quality but it does its job. I left the plastic feet off as it looked better under the tv at that height. Door does not have a latch. Punchouts in back could have been much larger. Especially if you're using it to hold a receiver.Some complained about crooked door. It's how they installed. It has a lot of room on hinges to adjust (or mess it up) while installing.Was not the most sturdy but i did not push unit to the brink of failure either. I feel comfortable with basic stuff stored in it. I have hsd to slide it around quite a bit as ive gotten things situated.In short this is the bare minimum of what i would consider a functional cabinet.

I have been using this as an entertainment center for the past 2 months and it is perfect. I had no problems with shipping, assembly or quality. The door allows me to keep the electronics mostly concealed and dust free. The frosted glass blocks most of the glare from the LEDs on each device so they don’t stand out when the room is dark. The glass does not block the IR signal from any of my remotes, so the door can remain closed without interfering with daily use. I didn’t attach the feet that came with the cabinet so it is a few inches shorter and sits flush on the floor. See attached images. Overall, this has been a great purchase.

Looks great, easy to assemble. Very sturdy.
