Sturdy but comfortable
I bought them for an upcoming trip but tried them out mall walking today. I forgot I was wearing new shoes. The balance took a few minutes to get used to, but after that, smooth walking

Size up for All Weather Lone Peaks
I take a 6.5 in the regular Lone Peaks, but have to size up to size 7 in the all weather version. They look the same from the outside, but the all weather version has a waterproof inner liner that is quite thick. I am absolutely in love with Altras. They are so light and so comfortable. I live in Birkenstocks so I REALLY love the zero drop! The heels in Merrells and Keens feel unnaturally high to me. The negative reviews for Altras are most often from people who do not like zero drop shoes, so be aware of that if you are considering Altras. I cannot speak to durability, which seems to be the other primary concern, but the materials are quite light and I would not expect them to be able to withstand really punishing treatment for very long. But I think they will be perfect for long, rocky, muddy, hilly but relatively unchallenging walks through the English and Irish countryside.

Most comfortable hiking shoe
I just started using these over the past month, so can't speak to longevity of the produce, but so far these are the most comfortable hiking or trail running shoes I've ever worn. I should say that I don't run in them, but only use them for hiking. The insole is nicely cushioned which is what I needed because of an injury to my foot. The toe box is wide, as this is one of the features of Altras, to allow your foot to spread naturally in the shoe as if walking barefoot. I also like the zero drop. It works well for me. I also like that the outsoles are not highly cushioned or higher profile, as I don't want that when hiking... so I don't catch an edge or roll an ankle. I'm looking forward to seeing how these hold up over time and plan to compare them to regular Lone Peaks that I bought as well (not All-WTHR).

Already coming apart…..
I’ve only worn these 4-5 times and they are starting to look like they’ve been worn for years around the seams.Very disappointing because they fit perfectly and are very comfortable!

water resistant covering developed cracks along crease
LOVE the fit and comfort, but paying $170 for a pair of water resistant shoes and having them develop a crack on both shoes after only several months of use is simply not ok. Sole is still in excellent shape. I have another pair of Altra's that are not water resistant that are still going fine after many months of use. I live in the Pacific Northwest and need good water resistant shoes.

The shoe is great
Love the shoe but I ordered grey and was sent black. Box says grey but black was there. Was going to return and now decided to just keep. I’ll be out the $15 difference from grey and black but not worth the trouble.

Love the width!!!
I love the width of these shoes as they let my toes spread. The traction has been excellent, too, on the trails I use. So far, they've repelled light mist and wet grass. Very happy with this shoe!

Not for me
These shoes were purchased for a long distance hike, however after wearing them in the house for an hour I had terrific cramps in my arches and toes. On the positive side they do have a wide toe box. I returned them and will try some others. Zero drop shoes are not for me!

Loved but didn't last
I bought these shoes in January 2023 and it is now May and the already have holes and are wearing quickly. Shoe is the perfect fit for me, I absolutely love these shoes, so much I bought a second pair not too long after my first purchase. Even though I do love these shoes, I thought I would add this note, so you know what you are buying.

Nähte gingen auf
Sind sehr bequem. Aber leider gingen die Nähte nach zwei Wochen auf. Deswegen musste ich sie reklamieren
