My old pump stopped working and this model produced the correct pressure and volume to run my Garden Tower. Very reliable and holds up well despite constant use.Bought a spare just in case.

I needed a low flow pump to put in my rain barrell that wouldn't try to empty all the water out in a few minutes and this pump is perfect.

Dislike amount of heat is dissipates into water

The pump lets me add an inlet filter so it works great to clear up my aquarium. Very flexible for use. Works great

I purchased one of these pumps for my DIY canister filter for my fish tank 4.5 years ago, and it is still going strong. No loss in head pressure, and just as silent as the day I purchased it. I'm writing this review because I have another fish tank I use to keep live minnows for fishing. I'm making another filter for that tank and need a good pump. You can't go wrong with these pumps.

After much research at big box retailers and here on Amazon, I decided to purchase this pump for my outdoor fountain, about two weeks ago. As compared to the pump this one is replacing, it seems a bit less powerful, however, I've reconfigured my fountain a bit and the plastic tubing I use recedes further back from the opening of the wine bottle being used as the "spout" for my fountain. Therefore, the water doesn't propel directly out; it trickles a bit more, which is actually a bit nicer sounding that when it launches out of the bottle.I had to replace this pump after a week, because it did lose power over the course of its first few days, then ultimately stopped working, however the seller was awesome and sent me a replacement in just a couple of days. The second one works just as well as the fist one did, initially, and is still working well today. The pump sits at the bottom of a 1/2 wine barrel (about 30 gallons of water) and it pumps the water out of copper tubing about a foot and up a second 1/2 wine barrel, where the tubing comes out of wine bottle. So, all in all, it's lift is about 2 feet. It's not a fountain spray because it's coming out of a bottle, but it seems to be steady.I did hook this up with a diverter, so I could have both the wine bottle and fountain spray and it did just fine. I'm in a very windy location and I don't think I'll keep this setup. I'll stay with the bottle.All in all, I'm pleased. I'll update later, as time goes on, with it's reliability over a longer period of time. I do recommend the pump. It's a great price and the exchange from the seller was awesome!

I purchased 4 of these pumps. The first one worked perfectly from the start and has continued to run faithfully for two weeks. The second only lifted the water 4 feet. This pump needed to be unplugged and plugged in several times before it would lift the water the full six feet of the tower, a defect which was evident within a few hours of installing it. I purchased these pumps for hydroponic towers, so it is imperative that the water flow regularly. I was able to provide nutrient solution to two hydroponic towers using one pump for a while, but this pump would be likely inadequate for any long term configuration involving more than one tower.The last two pumps seem to work fine, but each has only run for a day or so, I needed to test both just in case another one failed. I have these pumps on a timer - 15 min. on/15 min off.I returned the weak pump and was given a prompt refund. Replacement was not an option, so I had to purchase a replacement. I am keeping one for a spare, in case one of the working pumps dies. I don't know how long that will be but I will post an update when that happens.The specifications on the packaging state that the maximum height this pump will lift water is 6.5 feet. Two of the pumps are very quiet, one is a bit louder, but not distracting. The package contains barb adapters (1/2 inch and 5/8 inch(?)) for intake and outflow. Removing the housing and filter provides access to the intake where the adapter can be screwed in. This pump fits just fine in a five gallon bucket with room to spare and provides a good flow of nutrient solution to the top reservoir for distribution to the plants.

The reason i'm giving five stars is because of the small filter in front of the impeller which catches dirt before the damage or clog your impeller.It's also easy to clean without removing the pump from the aquarium, i just remove the front part while leaving the pump in the aquarium, i rinse the filter and that is it.It is quieter than my previous pump but still has a small humming noise which i hear at night.I strongly recommend this because of the filter which keeps your impeller clean and your pump will last longer.

La peor compra de mi vida, no solo ha tardado en llegar, como no ha cumplido con mis espectativas. No tiene potencia suficiente para llevar agua en una altura de 80 cm. Y si entra la mínima burbuja de aire, lo quema de seguida. Ya no funciona como al principio. Pasan los minutos, se calienta y muere.

En terminos generales esta bien pero al inicio cuesta un poco de trabajo que fluya el agua. En mi caso tengo que succionar para que fluya el agua después todo bien. Si me frustro las primeras veces

Pues no me sirvió para lo que quería que era sifonear mi pecera con en un video pero no logré hacerlo bien, quizás para un acuario para tortugas estaría perfecto

Excelente bomba, silenciosa y con gran capacidad de movimiento. Aunque las gomas que centran las asmas con de pésima calidad. Aún así la bomba es excelente.
