Too flimsy for my 2 meter radio.

Was not sure about this product .. But I am VERY pleased with the outcome ….I have a 2020 Ford Escape With limited install options . Looked at Head units with no controls ..only mic controls to hide unit under seat or glovebox Looked ay many on Amazon .. no sale for me .. wanted both control options… head unit and mic controls .. and lots of lights and colors !!!!Found this …watched it on a Podcast on a U tube show .. looked like a good solutionIt’s is well designed . Good fit and finish . STRUDY AND IT FITS MY CUP HOLDER.. PERFECTLY !!!!Love the option to easily remove my radio from my Vehicle in. 2 minutes .. flatHad to modify the mounting plate to fit my Radioddity DB20-G.. it looks very similar to webpage photo. when installed….Drilled one extra hole .. 5 minute fix..BUY IT ..IF THIS IS YOUR THING ..👌

Try to mount anytone 6666 smaller Radio did not do the job

The plastic arms do not provide me with much confidence. Its not a beefy plastic and the swivel joints are difficult to tighten down to keep sturdy while driving. For my AT-778UV, it works to hold it and is about as large as I would go with a radio. For my AT-6666 radio, it is much to large to hold in position and suspect it will break if I attempt to use.The actual cup holder grip works awesome. Nicely engineered and does what it needs to do. It also does not loosen over time. I made a 3 hour trip up north with no issues at all.If you set your expectations appropriately, you will not be disappointed.
