**Q: Is this material a plastic kind?**
A: Yes. The entire bag (with the exception being the handles which are made of cloth) is plastic.

**Q: Why do some reviews say that it will not hold a 9ft tree and some say it will? - confusing.**
A: I'm guessing that it depends on how the 9' tree breaks down. We have a 7 1/2 ' tree that breaks down into 3 pieces, and this bag had plenty of room for it, the tree stand, and misc. strings of lights we use around the house. Much more could have fit in this bag if necessary. So far, this has been an excellent (and inexpensive) purchase.

Nice bag. Well made. With large enough opening to actually fit the tree through easily. We put the original box in the bag to provide some structure. Now we can easily carry the box and enclose the tree. The bag seems strong enough to last many seasons. Excellent purchase for the price.
