ECCOWomen's Mx Mid Boot Gore-tex Sneaker

I always wear 8 1/2 (39) in Ecco shoes, but these boots were a bit too short in the toes and rather claustrophobic feeling all over. I have returned them and ordered the next size up, hoping they will fit.In principle, the boot is attractive and comfortable; the arch support is sufficient and well located. I was afraid the outer soles would seem too high (and not stable), but I felt fine walking in them. There are a lot of places where snow, ice, and grit can accumulate: we'll see how that goes (!) if the size 40 fits me.Updated to change from 4 stars to 5. The size 40 arrived amazingly quickly, and it fits well! I will be keeping the boots. For reference: I have a narrow foot, with an especially narrow heel. I rarely, rarely buy a shoe or boot of any make that is not an 8 1/2 N. I was surprised to need a 9/40 in this boot, but even the heel seems to fit well in this larger size--and none of the all-over claustrophobic feeling I had in the size 39s. So I"d recommend sizing up. Not having walked outdoors in the boots yet, let alone in snow or on icy surfaces, I can't speak to the grip-factor. Will submit another review once I've had a chance to test these in wintry conditions.

With my elderly, small feet, these allow me to take miles-long walks. With other walking shoes, I need to take small breaks due to pain. Love these shoes!

They are better than I expected! Awesome hiking sneakers! Yes, they fit very snug, but they’re supposed to because they’re hiking sneakers. I take a 6 1/2 and I bought a 6 to 6 1/2 and they fit perfect! Very comfortable and I’m very happy!

love these boots, I get lots of compliments at work. The boots are comfortable, water resistant, and unique in the way they look. I recommend.

I have gotten so many compliments on these shoes from complete strangers, usually the people who are on their feet all day, like movers and delivery drivers. I was attracted to them because of their utility: the traction, the light weight and the waterproofing. The cosmetics is purely a bonus. They look and feel good and are my go-to shoes for just about everything.

Returned due to size (too small).

Wife has three pairs of these. She really likes them and hikes in them almost daily. You'd think they'd last rotating through three pairs of them but... three out of the six shoes now have ripped main seams. Bummer. Now we have to find another boot that she'll be comfortable in.

Amazing shoes, bought it for hiking, and they are really comfortable, easy to clean also, satisfied with purchase!

El podólogo de mi hermana dice que es la mejor marca de zapatos para cuidar los pies, así que he probado a tener este par, después de dos años usando Skechers. Para mí son comodísimas. No levantan el arco, cosa que no soporto. Son ligeras y nada duras en la pisada, a pesar de no llevar plantillas memory foam o similar. Que además tengan tecnología goretex es un plus para mí. Hace años que uso Salomon, que me ha ido muy bien y el goretex nunca me ha fallado. Estas botas para mí han resultado más cómodas. Para pie ancho creo que no son tan cómodas. Quizás deberían fabricar dos tipos de ancho, o medias tallas. Por último el número es correcto, y se corresponde con el número que utilizo habitualmente. No creo que sean tan resistentes como las Salomon, que por monte abrupto aguantan de todo, pero bueno, no las llevaré y listo.

Für mich die super perfekten tollen Schuhe. Warum? Ich habe im Ballenbereich einen wirklich breiten Fuß, ansonsten aber ganz normal. Diese Schuhe machen das mit. Trotz Gore-Tex haben sie sehr schön nachgegeben, sitzen aber wunderbar im Knöchelbereich. Vorausgesetzt, man kauft sie groß genug, also in meinem Fall etwas größer, damit nachher die Breite stimmt. Mir passen sie (mit normalen dünnen Socken) jedenfalls wie selten ein Schuh, dazu sind sie leicht, wasserdicht und haben ein gutes Profil. Sie sind nicht wie ein schwerer, fester Wanderschuh für lange Wanderungen mit Gepäck, das sollte man nicht verwechseln, aber für den Alltag mit Hund einfach perfekt, und optisch gefallen sie mir auch. Komischerweise kam ich mit dem gleichen Modell als Halbschuh gar nicht zurecht, da fehlte dann der Halt und die Ferse rutschte raus.
