Great tool - gets the job done.
This tree saw works great. Its got a great blade and is able to reach the tallest branches. However, its isn't light or easy to handle once all of the extensions are used. I've had to use all the extension but one and its heavy and hard to handle to get off the ground and into the tree. Its probably best to have 2 people to get it up off the ground but it was doable by just me. But once its up on the branch that needs to come down, it makes quick work of the job. Its well made with the tubes made of sturdy fiber glass (maybe carbon composite?) with metal screw fittings to attach one to another. It also comes with a spare blade and a great duffle bag to store everything neatly. I would have had to call a tree service for many hundreds of dollars and instead, this only cost a bit over $100 and did the job quickly and easily.

Works like a charm
We’ve only had this saw a week and we’ve already dropped about a dozen limbs that would have cost us an arm and a leg to have someone do for us.The saw is a bit cumbersome to use at its full extension as the pole has some flex it in, but if you can get it hooked on the branch in question, you can use gravity to help you on the downward pull to get going. It’s amazing how the rounded blade is really made for this work. It’s even much easier than using a regular straight saw in a workshop. The blade is still going strong - as long as I store it properly, I think I’ll get years out of this piece of kit. Would recommend, especially for the price.A word of warning, it can be easy to cross thread the pieces if there is weight on either piece, so go slow and steady when connecting them. We now have two pieces that are stuck together so will need to be stored out of the bag, but that’s my fault for rushing it when I knew it was pinching!!If you’re taking down particularly long or heavy limbs, I would recommending looking up how to do that without damaging the tree (either undercut a bit and/or make the initial cut further out on the limb so the weight doesn’t strip the bark when it comes away, then come back and clean up the branch stump you’ve left on the tree - much easier without all the weight).I included some pics to show the clean cuts I was able to achieve. This is from a ladder with about a 10 ft pole on the saw.Of course, it goes without saying, take all relevant safety precautions and have someone spot you, help with ropes, etc - falling branches ain’t no joke.

Easy setup and sharp blade
I needed to trim a few branches in a tall tree and checked my life insurance before climbing a long ladder and strangely, stupidity, aka 50+y/o on a 12ft ladder holding a bladed tool, is not covered. This saw does a great job. It is easy to assemble and set up, and has a long reach. It does get a little wobbly when extended far out, but hitting the desired spot on the branches was not too difficult. The blade cut easily into the wood and the hooks at both ends prevent it from slipping out of the cut. Wear safety glasses to avoid sawdust in your eyes.

Great kit
Wow. Tree trimming made easy. Works great. If you don't do anything else, purchase the blade with handle. This is the best blade I have ever seen. Goes through wood like butter. I have used many times at 20 feet plus. No problems.

sturdy pole segments, sharp saw blades
I've owned several extendable pole saws/pruners. Typically, they become flimsy and lose effectiveness the longer you extend them (which stands to reason given they extend from within, with progressively thinner extension sections). This particular device is far superior. The segments are stout -- they do not bend -- and they are all the same size. You extend the pruner by screwing in one segment to the next, up to whatever length necessary to the max 26'. Thus, the pole does not get progressively thinner and more flimsy the longer you make it. This allows you to keep downward pressure on the saw blade as you prune -- makes for a much quicker cut.Having said that, I would not want to wield it all day long, particularly at full or near full extension. the downside of having a sturdy device is that it makes it heavier. But if you're just pruning trees for a 1/2 hour or so, it is way more efficient than the extendible/accordion type pruners.

Overall OK, good for the price
The pole is well made but heavy. The blade is a little flimsy and bends easily. Trick is to use as little pressure as possible. Not always easy with a heavy pole...

Effective
Good productA little unwieldy at full extension, but is sharp and effective for cutting limbs. I trimmed several oak limbs with the cutter.

Works Well/Takes Effort/Hand Grip Came Off on Second Day of Use
First, I would say that I would buy this again. Poles are long (longer than you can probably use) and pretty sturdy for the height. Blade is sharp. Extra blade is great to have and one of the reasons why I bought this product as compared to competition. Carry bag is essential as you approach the trees to get the correct height on the pole. Cutting high branches takes work so be prepared but that is to be expected and is manageable if you want a good shoulder/arm workout. Once I got "started" I found more and more low or dead branches to cut (some quite high). Very addicting. Also, the hooks on each end of the blade are essential for ease of cutting but also VERY helpful to grab dead vines on trees to pull down. The reason I only gave it four stars is because, on the second day, the rubber bottom and mid pole grip handle on the lowest pole both came off (I couldn't find them in the woods). At first I thought I left that pole section on the ground as I modified the pole height periodically but then (after looking around for them for a while) I realized they had just slid off since that end of the pole had no metal connector piece like the others. You don't really need the grips but they should have been more securely attached so a one star "demerit."Overall, very glad I bought this!
