Nautica Men's Braided Belt

This is my second purchase of this belt. The last one lasted close to over a year with almost daily use. Although the belt hole became loose on my last one, the color and the rest of the belt looked as good as the day I bought it. This is much better if a belt than ones I purchased for over $40. I wasn't expecting it to last as long as it did, or even look as good as it did after so much use.this is definitely one of the best belts I have ever bought. I purchased one for my son Christmas 2014 and he is still wearing that one. Top quality, recommend it.

Just wore it for the first time, so too early to know how it will hold up.Looks and feels nice. Fits well.The loop that the end of the belt slides into (past the buckle) seems like it might be too flimsy to hold up, but works fine.

I purchased this belt to replace an identical belt I've been wearing for ten years. The old one still looks pretty good. The best features include it flexibility and as a result of the weave, the adjustment holes are very close together allowing a very comfortable adjustment. Great product.

This belt looks good however with daily wear it will be needing replacement annually, at best. The weave where the buckle intersects will wear out and come apart. Also, this is a very thick belt. If your belt loops are not generous, you will have issues, especially where you have double thickness where the tongue goes past the buckle once fastened. I suppose for the nature of the design being braided the durability will not be all that impressive. I’ve bought this same style in several brands and they all wear prematurely and fail in the same manner. All you can do is become comfortable with your cost per use if you like this style.

Edit: My initial review is below. Just an update. 6 weeks after purchase this belt BROKE! The leather down the middle went pop pop pop and the thing split into two halves for about 6 inches. Yikes... that kinda made me feel bad. Sure I'm not as trim as I once was but I'm not a belt snapping hippo. This thing is junk. Not sure if I can return it but I'm going to try. Don't buy this stinker!!I see one person found my original review helpful. I thought I'd keep the winner and return the other two. I ended up keeping them all because they are all very nice. This one edged out the others by a nose. They were all about the same price and similar quality. This one is a bit thicker than the others but also a bit more sturdy. Depending on your belt loops you may not be able to use it due to the thickness. Otherwise, this is the one.

Just got in today so was on time. It is a very nice looking belt. I ordered a size 32 and it is perfect. They always tell you to order belts 2 inches larger than your pants size but that never worked for me and this one is proof again. Anyway only time will tell if it's a good quality or not but it appears to be well built course I don't overtighten my belts either but I order my pants the right size to begin with so they don't really have to be held up with a belt just snug a little. Oh and by the way this is not a thin belt it's a pretty thick one not to imply it's too thick. Actually I think the actual belt is better looking than the picture.

If u looking to buy a classy amd strong belt then this is the belt to buy. Its slightly bulky( thick) so u might find it hard to put through trousers with tiny loops.If your hip size is say 34 then go for 36 or you may find it short. Dont go for the negative reviews as ppl who had given them should have probably bought expensive belts. For the price, the belt is super value for money.

This was a replacement for another Nautica belt my son had worn almost daily for a couple years. Previous belt was very high quality leather, finer weave, with a very nice looking nickel buckle. I ordered this belt because it is one of the few braided belts that comes in a size 30 (most start at 32). Not nearly as nice as the previous Nautica belt.This belt iis very bulky, antique brass buckle looks dingy and sloppy, and the worst part is the loop. If you look closely in the photo, the decorative metal Nautica symbol is actually part of the loop. They manner in which the leather is attached to this metal piece causes it to always gravitate downward, and makes it difficult to slide the belt through it when putting it on, which is probably why the belt is wearing so poorly for many of the reviewers.Added frustration for this purchase was the EXTREMELY Sloooooooowww delivery on Amazon's part. Guess I've become spoiled by seeing packages arrive earlier than expected. This order was fulfilled by Amazon and took 10 days to receive. Had wanted the belt for a special occasion, but missed it by several days.
