How long do they last?

They glowed for about 8 hours...initial bright and then gradually dimmed. Great for a night with no power. Placing close to a mirror doubles the light. Safe too.

Can someone measure the bottom (flat part) of the glow stick and tell me how wide it is? (in inches please)

The bottom is 3/4 of an inch across.
