Way too big
I wear a size 10, generally. In the panama sole jungle boots, I wear a 9.5; therefore, I ordered a 9.5. I damn-near need an 8.5, as even the 9s are a bit big. I literally just got my pair in today (2nd pair, as I had to return one pair).

Pros AND cons to these...
Seller (Hays 2 Nxt Gen): excellent! Immediate shipping, fast returns/refund processing! Took me 4 orders to get my size right so excellent work on seller’s part on working with me while deployed!Product (McRae ripple sole combat boots, coyote color): meh. Tough as nails to break in. Run way too big; I wear a 9R in all other combat boots but 7.5W in these. Large gap of flat area between tip of toe and ripple rows, so every step is “brrCLACK brrCLACK..”. Padding at top of shank sucks; I cut it out. I was looking for something similar to my trusty Altama ripple sole boots (not produced anymore) but this isn’t what I was hoping for. Still, better than the lightweight sissy paperweight “boots” that are the fad these days. Positive note: once broken in (I suggest soaking with water and wearing til dry), fit pretty well in terms of toe room, heel cup, arch support. My feet sweat way less in these than in my other lighter-weight ones in this hot UAE summer. So, if you’re looking for a durable set of boots for your everyday duty boots, these have their perks. I also suggest some heavy duty laces instead of factory ones.

Unsatisfied with the soles
I like the boots, fit good. The soles are my only issue. The way they do the toe area it makes a tapping sound when I walk on floors. Very annoying, people can hear me coming.

Don't think twice these are the beez kneez!
I bought some Altima ripple sole boots while in the sand box and they were stiff and uncomfortable. When I see these I was hesitant but I went to the local clothing and sales on post to see if they had some and they had the exact boot so I tried it on and was amazed. It fits just like the Belleville hot weather boots fit. As for size I tried an 11.5 and it fit just like my 11.5 Belleville fit. I don't like the factory insoles as I like a little more cussion so I bought the Walmart construction insoles for $14 and these boots are a delight!

Too big
Appears to be good quality but sizing was not accurate. Considering how expensive it was u would think the sizing would be on point. Now I've gotta figure out if it's possible to return. What a pain In the butt.

Affordable boot, however not made really well. I tried them and don’t like it.
Won’t be buying these again...... I’ll stick to Danners!
