This thing is awesome. I own every kitchen gadget known to man
This thing is awesome.I own every kitchen gadget known to man, including three slow cookers, a food dehydrator and an apple peeler! This is the best one, far and away.As a vegetarian I toss beans, whole grains, pasta, or veggies into it and in less than an hour, usually much less, with no stove watching, I have a delicious meal.I'm saving money buying dried beans now instead of canned.I looked at all the brands, and am happy I pulled the trigger on the Fagor. The build quality is excellent, so is the appearance, and it comes with a very helpful manual with recipes. If you cook at home this is a must buy.

Shes Obsessed!
Since picking one up as an afterthought for wife on Christmas, I have enjoyed no less than 25 meals from this this in a little over a month. Everything is super juicy (brats are fantastic) and good. She friggin loves it, as do I, and cleaning up has been so easy. Get some extra gaskets and accessories as they will get used. I bet a dorm room could use one of these. Mine came with a stainless bowl...

Don't buy-- customer service is non-existant
I purchased this item on Amazon (through 3rd party) and should have done a bit more research. I have a stovetop pressure cooker, which I'm satisfied with, but this product died a month short of its warranty. "No problem" I thought, it's a great company and will replace/repair.After contacting the service number printed in the warranty manual and getting a "this # no longer exists" message, I researched online at "Pissed consumer" (there are others out there with the same experience). After calling another number on this site and attempting to email Fagor that didn't work I discovered some discussion threads that indicated that Fagor USA is no longer, hence my headache.I'm so upset about this-- I wanted to invest in a great product that would serve me for years. I thought that's what I was getting when I spent the $180.Any recommendations on a reliable brand of Multi Cooker whose parent company hasn't gone defunct?

Like it so far
I am still learning but I wish I would have just gotten an Instant Pot brand instead because ALL the recipes on Pinterest and Facebook are for that pot and they have many different settings. Hard to know how to convert when you're new at it. I do like that I got a larger pot even though we are a family of 2 most of the time. Easier for leftover freezer meals and soups. The enamel insert is a dream to clean food just falls right out of it.

The eight quart is a great size and more than adequate for just two of ...
My first electric pressure cooker and I'm really enjoying it. I've made spareribs, steamed vegetables, made hard boiled eggs and used it as a slow cooker. My next project is stuffed bell peppers and making my own dog food. The eight quart is a great size and more than adequate for just two of us. Don't be intimidated by the idea of a pressure cooker because it is so easy to use.

The products from Fagor are awesome and built to last
This is my 3rd Fagor pressure cooker, 1 for the stove, 1 for our other second house and 1 for our home. The products from Fagor are awesome and built to last! The Pressure Cooker Lux has incredible setting advantages compared to any Crockpot. Don't get me wrong. Crockpots are great but one dimensional for kitchen use. The luX has program able modes and when shut off goes to warm. You can set a timer for start. You can set your Pressure temp and time length. I LOVE IT!

Worked great for two years
This expensive multi cooker worked great for two years and then just quit working. It won’t turn on. At most it was used once a month. I didn’t really use all the functions but enjoyed having an electronic pressure cooker instead of the old stove top kind. I am still trying to find information online to see if there is an easy fix. If there isn’t an easy fix I will go back to using the stove top pressure cooker. Stove top pressure canners don’t have electronic problems that make you throw away the whole pot, if something wears out you just replace the part.

Stopped working - poor customer service
The pressure cooker function quit working after only 6 uses. It leaks and will not build pressure. Customer service at Fagor has been extremely frustrating! They are difficult to contact and slow to respond.
