Loved!
Loved Hannah and Killian’s story!Hannah has always loved outdoor life away from the big city. Her work at a wildlife conservation has been her calling. The unthinkable happens when she goes missing after being sent to check on a local nest that has had some poaching activity around it.Killian, has longed for the day Hannah would give him the chance to see what could be between them. When he gets the call that she’s gone missing he springs into action. A wilderness expert, he has no doubts he’ll be bringing her home. After finding her injured and unable to get herself off the mountain it’s a race against time to escape before the poachers close in on them. What happens if there’s another threat a bit closer to home? These two slay me. It was quite emotional to read her difficulty in letting others help her and not allowing others to see her in pain. I love how Killian managed to eventually get past her walls. I loved the backdrop of the story and can’t wait to read more of the search and rescue series.

Wow! That was so boring, and I still don’t know Hannah.
In every single book, Hannah is mentioned, but she never speaks, so we have no clue about her. In Jake and Annie’s book, With This Ring, everyone is mentioned but her! Was she not at her brothers wedding???? It’s WEIRD!!! Having said that, Liam and Sophie are hardly ever mentioned either.Hannah works at a wildlife centre, when her boss asks her to go check on an eagle. As there has been poachers in the area. Hannah is attacked and injured and the poachers are after her. Killian is sent to find her. Along with Jake and Owen. The whole book doesn’t make sense! Hannah describes the poachers, as looking like ex military, with advanced equipment. So why do they act like bumbling idiots with her??? When she escapes them, they’re shooting everywhere to find her. Like amateurs!Eventually Killian rescues Hannah and the poachers are still shooting in the other direction! What, they can’t follow footprints???It’s decided that Hannah, who has a broke ankle, (and acts like it’s nothing!) will need protection from the poachers. Hmm. Killian spots their car several times, but doesn’t manage to get their licence plate. Aside from wondering how he doesn’t. Hannah already knows it as she spotted it before she approached the men. And she notes that it’s a local car and not a rental!!!! Which is never mentioned again!!!So Hannah and Killian fall in love, and I don’t really care at this point. The poachers are caught. So easily it’s crazy!!! Hannah has her plaster taken off, and is instantly able to go on a hike!!! OH COME ON!! BROKEN LEGS ARE SO WEAK AFTER BEING IMMOBILISED FOR SIX WEEKS!!! There is no way that she could go for a hike!!!Sex was boring. The whole book was boring! I can’t believe that she wrote this!

Another addition to my favourite series
I've read this series multiple times (I start it over again in the lead up to the next release) and this book is a fabulous addition!I feel like I've been waiting ages to learn more about Hannah, she's been an enigma so far in the series being based away from the family, buts she's just as amazing as I expected (like the rest of the family). Can be read as a stand alone but I would definitely recommend you start at the beginning with Vulnerable to get a full appreciation for the family dynamics. Can't wait for the next installment (I hate the wait)....no pressure April 😉

Another fantastic book
This is a spin off from the McIntyre series and can be read as a standalone but I would suggest reading all the books as the characters interlink. This is the book for Shane’s sister, Hannah. When Hannah goes missing Shane sends Killian to the Rocky Mountains to locate her. Once found Hannah and Killian can’t fight the attraction any longer. Can’t wait for the next one

April never fails to deliver
WOW, WOW, WOW April Wilson you’ve done it again! This spin off series to McIntyre Security Series gets off to an amazing start. In book 1 we have Hannah McIntyre and Killian Devereaux.Killian has been constantly knocked back by Hannah but when she goes missing in the mountains Shane (her eldest brother and founder/owner of McIntyre Security) knows exactly who will find her.Loved getting to finally see Hannah open up to Killian. We also meet some new exciting characters ready for more in the series.Highly highly recommend 20/10 rating for me!

Brilliant as always
Read this book in one sitting. Who needs food anyway? The storyline was brilliant and April didn't disappoint with the characters. I particularly liked getting the input from the other members of the family. I also liked the introduction to the new cast of characters and the little additional adventures for Hannah and Killian. Can't wait for Maggie and Owens story. Xx

Hit and Miss
This is my first book by this author and I have mixed feelings. It's almost an insta-love, as these two are already mad about each other before the first paragraph. One small obstacle between them is quickly solved. The poacher theme takes front of stage and this kept me reading. But that storyline is all wrapped up by the 75% mark and the book really should have finished there. But it goes on for another 7 pointless chapters, which include a ton of surplus characters, and a seriously tedious 'meet the parents' epilogue. And why does Ray suddenly morph into Mr Hyde? Definitely a book of two halves for me. The 3 stars are for the first half.
