Still a Champion in 2025
I’ve been using this controller since 2021 and it’s still going strong, demonstrating top-tier durability and build quality. The buttons feel tactile and responsive, giving me confidence with every press. The adaptive triggers are a game changer, especially in fast-paced FPS games, they elevate gameplay to a whole new level of precision. The color is sleek and stylish, offering a sharp aesthetic without being flashy. It feels incredibly comfortable in hand thanks to its ergonomic design, making long gaming sessions a breeze. I’ve used it seamlessly on both Xbox and PC with no compatibility issues, making it a versatile powerhouse controller. Five stars all day!

A high quality, respectable controller
This controller was recommended to me by a friend, who’s had his for a while now. I just finished setting it up and testing the functionality!I’d like to start by saying the packaging was sturdy as hell. I was a bit nervous since the Amazon box it came in was beat up, but the manufacturers packaging was pristine. Im very impressed!!! It’s clear to me that many precautions were taken to ensure the product arrived safely. The plastic faceplate feels very soft and smooth to the touch. The rubber grips will be great for sweaty gaming sessions, and the buttons are all beautifully responsive and springy. Bumpers and triggers feel amazing, too.The thumb sticks have this light resistance to them that feels really good, and the controller has some weight to it. It’s lighter than the elite series 2. The paddles will take some getting used to, they’re placed a bit awkwardly to me.It has a mute button built in!!! Oh, and the switches for the trigger locks feel very professional.I will update in 1 year or when this product develops stick drift, whichever comes first

Controller Broke, but even if it hadnt there are design flaws
I have a bit of an xbox controller addition. I own every Scuf (everyone of them has broken at some point), I also own the Elite series 2, and a Hex Gaming controller. My thoughts on the Scuf pro instinct are largely negative, but lets start with the pros.Pros:- Visually pleasing: I will admit the controller looks beautiful, like something a pro esports player would wield. Unfortunately, its the only good thing about it.Cons:- Breakable: Ive owned 3 iterations of scuf, everyone of them has broken at some point, 2 stick drifts, and the last generation controller got so hot that it melted the faceplate and obviusly ceased to function. And this one followed suit, the rb button caved in just some weeks into having it. I opted for money back.-Thoughtless design: The back paddle are piss. Plain and simple. the bottom ones are serviceable enough but its a chore to push the top ones in game accurate becuase you hate to push up at an angle. Hey scuf if you're reading this, whoevers idea that was should recieve a pink slip immediately. Its a step backwards compaired to previous models.- No innovation: There just isnt much this controller adds to any other version of itself. I guess they deserve a little credit for getting rid of the ridiculous mapping system of its predecessors (using a magnet on the back of the controller.) However its still not even almost as good as the mapping system on the hex, and even further front the Elite 2.Price: This is the most expensive non modded after market controller. And its the worst one. If you would like the advice of someone who spend way too much on controllers like an idiot, heres what I have to say. Get an Elite Series 2. The mapping system is excellent. Great build and feel, the paddles are placed pretty well. Im not going to lie, the Elite 2 will probably break on you at some point with a stick drift. But Microsofts Customer service is excellent. Ive sent back my elite twice for it, and each time I have a new controller at my door 3 days after sending it to their warehouse.Customer Service: Scufs customer service in my singular experience trying to contact them is a joke. They ended up straigh up ghosting me.

Better Than Xbox Elite 2
This is hands done 1000% better than the Xbox Elite 2. Rubber grips, great quality no stick drift. Paddles are a bit of a learning curve. Well worth it, will be buy this from now on onstead of Elite 2.

A Game-Changing Controller with Mixed Durability and Customer Service
I've been using the SCUF Instinct Pro Controller for my Xbox gaming sessions, and it's been a game-changer, enhancing my performance in both first-person and third-person shooters like Fortnite and Call of Duty. The addition of extra controls on the back has been invaluable, allowing me to keep my thumbs on the analog sticks while executing complex maneuvers seamlessly. However, the controller's durability leaves something to be desired. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the sturdiest, I'd rate it a 6. While it's held up to regular use fairly well, I've encountered two significant issues. Firstly, the left stick developed severe drift after some time, despite my careful handling of the controller. Although customer service was excellent during my initial contact, the repair process was swift and efficient.Unfortunately, a year later, another problem arose when the back left button unexpectedly snapped. This time, my experience with customer service was disappointing. It took multiple requests and nearly two weeks to get a response. While the eventual assistance from Darian was helpful, I was frustrated to receive conflicting information about warranty coverage. Initially assured that the repair would be covered, I later received an unexpected invoice for $74, leaving me feeling misled and dissatisfied.Despite these setbacks, the controller itself remains top-notch, and I eagerly await the return of my repaired unit. Overall, while the SCUF Instinct Pro Controller has significantly improved my gaming experience, its durability issues and inconsistent customer service tarnish an otherwise stellar product.
