Not sure if it's suitable for your needs but... the black box is a voltage regulator to convert a higher voltage input to a 12v output

Sorry ,it is our error ,this is HR10A-7P-4P male connector.

Q: Does it work with sound devices mixpre 10mkii recorder ????

Yes. It is a standard HR10A-7P-4P male connector. Pin (4) is positive and pin (1) is negative. The only requirement for the mixpre 10mkii recorder is that DC voltages for powering must be from 10–17V. There is no need to use a regulated (12V) cable. The battery, of course, must have a D-Tap port.
