Guitar Diamond Nut File Shop Set with Case (MN676) | Complete Nut File Set for Electric, Acoustic and Bass Guitars: Tools - desertcart.com ✓ FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchases Review: Worth every penny - This set works very well. It cuts quickly and accurately. They are a little on the expensive side however I haven't found anything on the market that is a reasonable substitute. In fact some of my luthier friends ask to borrow theses tools because they work better then what they have. Ultimately I would recommend them to any serious luthiers it should be the only set you have to buy. Review: Need to adjust your nuts? - If you have decided to start adjusting your own nuts (guitar nuts anyway), this set is the way to go. Sixteen file sizes will work for just about any guitar you can buy. And if you have some guitars with different gauges strings, you're going to need this full set anyway versus the smaller set. Quality of the files is very high. They work great on most nut material (I've tried these on bone, Tusq, and nylon) AND saddle slots (Gibson ABR bridge). Easy to grip and use. The actual file can come out of the plastic holder if you have a really tight spot. But these should last for life - unless you get so good at it that you charge others to adjust their nuts (guitar nuts anyway). Then you might have to replace them after adjusting a few thousand nuts. And by then you'll be known as the nut master! ## Features - The Entire 16 Piece Nut File Set Perfect for any Job, any Instrument. Includes: .010", .013", .017", .020", .024", .028", .032", .036", .042", .046", .050", .056", .065", .085", .105", .130". Comes with an Organizational Storage Case and a Handy Cleaning Brush: 12" x 7" x 2" - Innovative Diamond Coated, Round "String-Shape" Blade Design that won't Bend, Resulting in Smooth, Precision Cuts - Laser Engraved Size on Each Blade Plus Ergonomic Handle and Convenient Workbench Hang Hole - Perfect for Cutting and Polishing at the Same Time for New or Existing Nut Slots - Great for all Nut or Saddle Materials such as Nylon, Bone, Graphite & Even Metals such as Brass & Zinc ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #7,631 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #146 in Guitar Tools | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 173 Reviews | ## Images ![16 pc. Sixteen file sizes will work for just about any guitar you can buy. And if you have some guitars with different gauges strings, you're going to need this full set anyway versus the smaller set. It might be a bit less ergonomic to use, or won't last as long, but it'll work. But I have found with nut files, you really don't want to use the cheap stuff because they are a real chore to use. I debated for years whether to spend big and buy this set, and while it's very expensive, it's worth it. I now cut and refine nut slots using a fraction of the time it used to take me using the cheap crap. The files are sharp, effective, and far more ergonomic than the stuff I was using before. With this set, I can do everything from standard 6-string guitars to baritones, 8-string, to 4, 5, and 6-string basses. ## Frequently Bought Together - MusicNomad Diamond Coated Nut File Complete Shop Set - 16 pc. w/Storage Case + Cleaning Brush - MusicNomad KEEP IT SIMPLE, SETUP (KISS)™ Starter Kit Bundle - 6 pc.
