Question 1

projector screen

Accepted Answer

I think he meant? "Will it work with a projector?" Not "Will it work with a 1995 48 inch big screen tv?". At any rate it should work with anything, as long as it has a method of taking a remote. Will connect to bluetooth, wifi, and IR

Question 2

Do the remote AND hub transmit infrared commands received from the iPhone app? I need two IR transmitters for use with the phone.

Accepted Answer

The Remote communicates through an RF signal to the hub, much like a wireless xbox 360 controller communicate to an xbox. No line of site needed by the remote itself. The app on your phone works over wifi to communicate to the hub. Again no line of site needed. The hub itself should be within the vicinity of devices being controlled without too many obstructions. The hub will communicate to the devices via IR, and Bluetooth dependent on the devices requirements. The hub works surprisingly well. This remote does come with 1 IR extender which is a cable that plugs into the back of the hub and has an IR blaster on the other end that you can put in front of a device that is inside a cabinet or just not in the line of sight of the hub. The hub has 2 spots for this to plug in on the back so if your need to purchase another IR extender cable, that can be done. I love this remote. Very easy setup and very quick response time, even when using the app.
