I have very fine, wavy, gold-auburn Caucasian hair and I have to lightly wash it after applying this oil or it looks oily and stringy (even if I apply just a wee bit). But it does make my hair softer and look fuller after washing. Leaving it on overnight and washing in the morning works especially well.
