WOW
It is one of the best books I have ever read and I read a lot. I have typed and deleted what I thought I could say or how I felt by reading this book. Words just can't describe it.My prayer is for everyone and anyone to read this book. Ema doesn't want pity or anyone to feel sorry for her. It is clear throughout this book that her faith, strength and most importantly Jesus is what her main goal is. For me she achieved that.Every second of the day miracles happen. Look around you and in the mirror, we are ALL God's miracles. Everything on this earth changes every second of the day the only constant in our lives is the Lord's UNCONDITIONAL love. Seek and you shall find. LOOK, LISTEN AND LEARN.God bless us all.

This is a must read book.
Ema's story is mind blowing with everything she went through. As I read about her journey and how she was made to jump through so many hoops in order to keep her insurance, I got so angry and frustrated by both her employer and the insurance company who didn't want to pay for any of her bills for treatment, medications,or doctors even though the court case said they had to. It made me sick to learn that if they hadn't forced her to return to work to keep her insurance there was a very high probability that she would of recovered . Their actions repeatedly made her condition worse making her a prisoner in her wheelchair for 18 years. As she shares her journey you can't believe how much she went through and the extreme pain that never stopped. Ema is an amazing woman who never let her circumstances stop her and used her faith to deal with everything. I never thought that I would ever encounter another person who endured as many health issues as I have because it's not a fun club to be in. Her story and journey has shown me not to ever give up and to continue to give it to God. I highly recommend you read this book and share it with others.

A Remarkable Story
The writing is OK but the story is, as the book title states, miraculous. Ema McKinley's recovery from the most extreme of the physical symptoms caused by her debilitating, trauma-induced condition, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, seems to be well documented by the doctors who treated her through many years of illness. After finishing the book, I could only conclude that God is still in the business of healing. How and whom He chooses to heal is more of a puzzle to me, but in the end that, too, is a matter of faith. Ema's faith that God was good and that He was with her never wavered through all her years of terrible pain, and that in itself is perhaps the biggest miracle of all.

Great, great true story.
Ema McKinley is an amazing person. Although she suffered enough pain to make anybody question God, for 18 1/2 years, she still had a joyful spirit. She found some reason to praise God and encourage others. I don't want to spoil the story for anyone but I would encourage anyone who wants to be encouraged or just to read a great book, to buy and read this book. To add to her pain and suffering, her husband left and the insurance company didn't want to pay for her medical bills. It was such a good book, I didn't want to put it down.

Awesome Truth That Jesus is Still Amongst Us
This is the story of Ema, a woman who through a tragic accident, ended up being confined in a wheelchair for over 18 years. But this is also a story of Jesus, who still performs miracles—who still comes to Earth to heal and comfort. He is real! He is present among us! I highly recommend this book to anyone suffering. It will bring you peace and comfort in the knowledge that Jesus never leaves us. He is always by our side, even when we do not feel his presence! Amen!

A Place to Stop and Be Encouraged
If you want to be extremely encouraged, this book is your key in unlocking your flat-lined life of despair, fear, discouragement and much more.Having gone through a horrific accident at her then place of employment, Ema McKinley faces a long journey ahead. Armed with joy and faith, Ema fights her way through emotional, mental, and physical pain that often won’t quit. Still, she remains focused on the One who allowed her place of pain (for a purpose) and she refuses give up.Even through the pain and in spite of it, she presses on and finds herself in a bit of a predicament one Christmas Eve. Because of the circumstances surrounding her, she fears this will be her last Christmas with her family. However, the One who has been faithful to her in the past will prove Himself faithful to her once again. This is a book that anyone in need of a pick-me-up will definitely benefit from and walk away knowing that there is a God who comforts and cares.

Gods amazing Grace
Picture is worth a thousand words! After reading Ema's story, I was so moved by her strong faith despite years of crippling pain. Looking at the pictures of her condition, I realized there is no way anyone can heal from that devastating disease without devine intervention. I loved Ema's steadfast faith and her ability to sustain it when facing brutal physical and mental challenges. Her recovery is a miracle that modern medicine cant take credit for. The holy spirit touched her and she was made whole again. Her story exists to remind us of the power of Gods love for His faithful children. Over and over she reminds us of that. Trust in Him. He can take the broken and make whole again.I was deeply moved by her beautiful story of faith and healing from Jesus. She is a special person who is reminding us that Jesus is always with us. We just need to have faith and seek Him at all times.

LOVED THIS BOOK!
Could not believe this woman's story! She, "crooked lady" was so upbeat most of the time through her entire ordeal. The part that got me was that she had such trauma from an accident on her job and the Company where she worked refused to pay for her medical bills. I would like to know the Company so that I could boycott them! It sounds like it could be Target or a similar store. They should be ashamed of themselves. What I don't understand is why her lawyer didn't sue for a large sum of money the way they would do today. Her pictures tell a thousand words and I don't know how she went through life the way she did. This the first book where I have seen such a huge miracle. How can you not believe?

A true story of a woman's dramatic encounter with Jesus Christ resulting in her miraculous healing
This book was incredible! I could not put it down! I was drawn into her journey from the very first page! I was shocked at the appalling treatment she received at the hands of some in the medical profession. But her encounter with Jesus made me weep, and the instant and miraculous healing that He gave her, after so many years of progressive disability from an illness following a horrific accident, was just mind-blowing! To those in the Church who hurl out words of judgment on those who suffer long-term illness, such as "you need more faith for your healing", I say this to you..."READ THIS BOOK, and then silence your flippant and condemnatory words!"Excellent book!
