Mistakenly ordered the two pack, but whatever. Both installed easily as far as mounting them onto electrical box but ..... The first one I installed works like a charm, but the second one, can't seem to get it to the setting I want to use, which is Dim thru the night and bright when motion is detected. I have tried every combination there is according to directions. Then I just keep pushing buttons til something works and noting does. It just stays on bright the entire nite. It provides enough light I guess just doesn't seem as bright as some others I have had in the past, but it will be fine. Well after three days of trying to get the second light I put up I will take one star away from review. Shuts off by itself won't go to the dim mode after trying the remote and the button on the light. And after having these lights or light up I should say they are not very bright at all. The light I had up prior was much brighter and worked just fine, glad I didn't throw it away.**update. wow went to Kasonic's website to see if I could look up troubleshooting for the model I purchased off of Amazon. They don't even have the model I and others bought. You get what you pay for I guess.

the remote sucks (POJ), can't get them to stay on at night, sometimes they stay on 50/50 chance. I will NOT buy again

Super hard to use the remote, the when the power goes down or even flickers, when the power comes back it reverts to mode 0, motion detect, so you loose the painful programming you did with the heinous remote. However, in motion detect mode, it works flawlessly for 6+ months, light is strong, good values if you are happy with motion detect mode only.

This light is nice there is no timing on the light so it goe off faster than I can make it to the steps before it goes off It luminates great but the on and off is moe like a strob that a light to show my way

I installed both of these lights on the sides of my house. (Right on the side yards. ) My first impression was OMG this is ABS light weight plastic. The good news is that it’s lightweight and will not stress out the eaves which I mount them under. Thus far, they work as advertised. (1hr in) I have not tried the remote. I wired it through a switch which I installed, in the attic. Overall I am very happy with the purchase. I just hope it won’t be UV damaged. Hopefully it will last more than 20 years.

Doesnt have the mounting HW needed with it like most lights do. Not normal hole placements either. Need adjustable bracket that was hard to find.

The are nice and inexpensive the only thing I would prefer is that I could increase the length of time the lights stay on after motion is detected

This is a good package deal. Two lights for about the price of one. These are smaller than you may expect, the box they are packed in wouldn't fit single light you buy from your local hardware store but they definitely do the job. They are also lighter in weight than I expected due to it's size and all plastic construction. They are bright enough to do the job and they trigger as desired. My biggest issue is that the Motion Sensor Mode, it only stays on for 20 seconds! I don't know why such a short time, they are LED and do not use much power, so the very short time on once triggered is baffling. Unfortunately, the time setting cannot be adjusted and the other option is to use the Permanent On Mode and have it stay on for 4 hours at dusk then after the 4 hours it functions like the Motion Sensor Mode. There is a dusk to dawn feature called Dim Light/Motion Sensor which will light automatically at dusk in energy saving mode (low brightness which is actually fairly bright) and then kick into full brightness for 20 seconds when motion is detected.If you are replacing an existing light, these install in minutes. The only adjustment is pointing the lights in the direction you want. The middle light panel has the motion detector and the light will have to be at the angle of the detector which makes sense and it is not an issue as it actually speeds up alignment. Without having any adjustment settings it again makes it extremely quick to setup after the quick installation. There is no 'test' feature you might be familiar with and you cannot test your sensor alignment until dusk as it will not turn on during daylight.The remote works, but to me it is a mere gadget as I am unable to use it from the house while looking out the window as it is mounted on the same side as the window. Even sticking my hand out the door does not allow the infrared remote to work. However, the remote does make it really easy to change the modes.If you are looking for two electrically powered security lights for the price of one then these are the ones to get.

I actually like its lack of adjustment options, because it sensitivity settings are just right for what it is designed to do, and having user adjustments will only create unnecessary tuning after installation.However, like many users indicated, it is not easy to tell which mode it is on. If the 3-sec indication can be varied in duration to tell what mode is on, it will make it more perfect.If the 20-sec expires on the last motion detection and not on the initial detection it will be an improvement.
