Depression Style Glass Salt and Pepper Shakers (Green)

I had a set of blue glass shakers for 20 years. Love them because my grandma gave them to me because they were my favorite, sentimental things from childhood, like the smell of her kitchen, and how the sun shone thru big windowsI and made pretty patterns of light.I’m clumsy in the kitchen, so after many years of dropping them on hardwood floors, I actually shattered the salt shaker.Amazon to the rescue! They had several sets of blue glass shakers, so I got a set that’s nearly exact to Grandma’s set. Beautiful, sturdy, and they arrived very quickly. Welcome back to my kitchen Grandmama!

They’re a lot bigger than I expected. In my opinion too big for table setting. Look nice on top of stove for decor.

I was looking for some simple but beautiful salt and pepper shakers for my kitchen, and I have a thing for ANYTHING with stained glass. I’ve had my eye on these for a while, but was weary about the size (I tend to prefer smaller salt and pepper shakers), but I’m so happy I went ahead and bought them. They are still decorative and simple, and have a nostalgic feel to them. They’re sturdy and do have a bit of heft to them, but I love it.

In the first set ordered, the salt shaker had air bubbles in the glass. I touched them, and 2 of those had broken through. I set up a return, odered another set. They're pretty, I really liked them. The replacement set came before I could return 1st set. In that one, the pepper had lots of air bubbles. I switched one of them, to make one good set. Though the pepper has a strange swirl on the back, I'm keeping them. They look nice left out on my counter, are easy to wash and fill.Look them over carefully for air bubbles first, especially if you're gifting them.

Nice quality, a little bigger than expected but not too big. Pictured with a standard coffee cup for reference. Overall awesome set!

Item has thinner areas of glass which show up when filled, this is a disapointment but I use them since this color is hard to find
