DonJoy Performance POD® ANKLE SUPPORT - White - Medium - Right

I’ve been using laced ankle braces to play racquetball. These are amazing! Light weight, easy to put on and take off. I’m actually surprised the reviews aren’t higher. Glad I bought them!!

Love it , i have an extremely high instep, so a little tight on off but does what i hoped for, alot of support for worn ankle ligaments, so stretch there is no pain , but ankle turned easily , this product gives true real support without impeding desired movements

This brace is super easy to use--positive. It holds my ankle steady, but still allows me to continue all my activities--positive. It is comfortable about half the time. It does not fit easily into any of my shoes, but I can get it in there eventually. If it is sitting just right on my foot, I would say it is pretty comfortable. However, that is not always the case, and if not, it can be a little painful on my ankle. I would not buy it again, but I do use it when my other one is wet with sweat.

Comfortable to wear ,not as much support as the donjoy velocity brace , but that brace has been discontinued , this brace is comfortable underfoot , and easy to put on fits in shoes well .

We dislike this product because the straps rip. I have bought them for my daughter she plays volleyball. They are so expensive and to rip is no good. You would figure since they are so expensive they would last. They only last 3-4 months max on my daughter and then I had to repurchase them Again because their policy is that after 30 days no returns no refunds no exchanges. It’s a waste of money.

Size table in the images does not provide good guidance. Also you have to pay attention to what side you need the brace for as this is side specific. Hopefully this picture saves you some time.

I would recommend this brace to anyone experiencing medial and lateral ankle instability from hypermobility or connective tissue disorders. For medial and lateral ankle instability: I have chronic ankle instability due to Ehlers Danlos (EDS), which has caused repeated falls and injuries. I have previously used articulated ankle stabilizing braces, including custom prescription Arizona Braces and ones purchased over the counter. This brace, by far, is the most comfortable, is the most light weight and is extremely low profile. Additionally, I’ve experience foot drop from lax connective tissue. This brace acts like a foot-up AFO and is adjustable around the arch of the foot to customize size and need for support. Simultaneously, it still allows for great movement and freedom of the ball of the foot. I tried this brace on with sneakers and under lace-up/side-zip boots and it fits with both. I have yet to try it with dress shoes or sandals, but I’m sure it will work. As someone who wears braces any time I’m walking to reduce turning my ankles or dropping/dragging my foot and tripping, this is by far the best brace. If you are looking for the great brace for hypermobile ankles (especially with foot drop), this is it.

My daughter has hated so many ankle braces- these were the golden egg. Honestly bought the other pair off another merchant much cheaper but had to come to Amazon to buy the other foot. Are ankle specific so u need right and left. Still worth every penny! Protects her ankles and still allows movement.
