All is well except for the power light, which is blue and very bright.Many might find the brightness and colour problematic, as I do, for use in a bedroom.A strip of gaffer tape brings it under control, but to many old fossils like me, red or orange would seem like a better colour choice. (I am aware that others, like me, suffer from red-green colour blindness, but I have never been unable to perceive red warning lights, and orange works even better).

I bought a couple of these with different length cables (a 5m and a 2m) - I have the most useless set up of plug sockets in my flat and without stretching to pay out for a rewire to install much needed plug sockets, I have to resort to extension leads.Previously, I have used extension leads with plenty of sockets for electrical items, but as more and more of my electricals come enabled with USB chargers and my old faithful multi USB port charging is giving up the ghost (5 usb sockets are now down to 2 that work :-( ) I have found that the extension leads equipped with USB sockets are a godsend. In this instance, 1 plug with the capability of loading up 3 plug sockets and 6 usbs - it's a shame that my original charger will eventually join landfill, but these iBlockCube extension leads are a truly impressive upgrade!I have always been happy with the manufacturer's electrical products and have purchased smart plugs and other extension leads with their name. The products are very sturdy and generally come with a 2 year warranty. Great value, look smart and do the job perfectly!I chose the black and grey option - the facing is black but the edging is grey. This fits in with my black and grey colour schemes in my home much better than the traditional stark white, and is a refreshing change from the solid black colouring - although this is just my own opinion!Just one note to make and that is the wattage of the 2 leads - this 5m length extension has a slightly lower UK rated power of 2500w as opposed to the 2m length lead which has a 3000w power rating. Obviously, I don't use electric heaters and heat producing equipment in the extensions (although in theory, permissable by wattage), and I certainly wouldn't overload the socket at any one time - the lead has 150 degrees flame retardent protection, but for plugging in my tv and chargeable usb devices, (tablet/phone/etc), this is more than adequate.Just one last thing, the sockets are not independently switchable as are some of the other extensions that I use, but it does have an isolating rocker switch which for my use at home is more than adequate - I've just returned from holiday and it was so easy to turn the appliances from standby to off by pressing the switch to off and then on again when I got home and not going round plugging everything in 1 by 1 again!

Only improvement would be making it wall mountable. Aside from that it's a reasonable quality for the price.

I got this for our holidays, so we could plug several devices in using just one single plug adaptor when over seas. Can charge all the families phones at once

Our apartment has an awkward design, meaning our L-shaped sofa in the living room is nowhere near any sockets.Seeing as in the modern day, we’ve lots of devices that need charging (phones, iPads, laptops.. steam decks?), this was a great purchase.The USB ports all work as expected, offering 4 devices worth of charging — exactly what we needed! Additionally, for the higher-draw devices, there’s two sockets for power bricks. This has improved the usability of our living room immensely — no need to run around charging various devices in different places anymore.Honestly, I don’t know how we put up without this, it really was rather annoying.The quality feels great for the price, very sturdy, and the cable is tough but reasonably flexible.. honestly, I have nothing to complain about.. we’d certainly buy more as-needed.
