I want to add RGB lighting behind my PS5 — is this light strip compatible with all PS5 models?

Yes, this LED light strip is compatible with the PS5, PS5 Slim, and PS5 Pro. It installs as a flexible adhesive tape that wraps around the console to create ambient RGB backlighting for your gaming setup.

Can I control the colors and effects from my phone, or only with the included remote?

Yes, this strip supports three control methods: the included IR remote control, a smartphone app via Bluetooth/WiFi, and a direct USB button. All 8 colors and 400+ lighting effects are accessible via any of these methods.

Will the adhesive on this light strip damage or leave residue on my PS5's surface if I remove it?

The strip uses a standard adhesive tape backing. For removal, peel gently and slowly to minimize residue. Applying slight heat from a hairdryer on low setting softens the adhesive for cleaner removal without surface damage.

Does the LED strip require its own power source, or does it draw power from the PS5's USB port?

The LED strip is powered via USB. It draws power from the PS5's USB port or any standard USB adapter, so no separate power supply is needed for operation during gaming sessions.

Can I sync the RGB effects to match my PS5's startup animation or in-game lighting automatically?

This strip does not auto-sync with PS5 system animations. Colors and effects are set manually via the remote, app, or USB button. Select your preferred static color or dynamic effect independently from PS5 operation.
