Bought for my 9-year-old grandson he loves it. Entertaining and educational.

Gift for my son. Quality is vary nice and easy to assemble has different variety set up for circuitry. Great price for what it's for. Would recommend for a gift to any upcoming child wanting to learn about how things work.

I bought this for my nine year old son for Christmas. It LOVES it!!! He plays with it for hours at a time! Him and his fifteen year old sister do them together sometimes. He actually said of all his gifts this year, this was his favorite!

I got this for my grandson who likes to build things and see them work. We built the first couple of circuits and he was excited. I’m looking forward to finding different ways to use other components the can try.

Self contained, very detailed electrician-type instructions.

This is a great educational gift, my grandson loves it. He spent two days doing the experiments in the book and did a few of his own. I had one of these as a child (55 years ago) but nothing this good.

WORTHLESS! I create engineering educational material for young people, targeting students from 7th grade to college level engineering students (You can look me up on youtube, "Paul McWhorter"). I my educational material focuses on starting Jr. High students with circuit design and microprocessors. I had hoped to use this kit as a basis for educational material for younger students, 7 or 8 years old and up. The box looked really exciting and the amazon description made it look interesting. As you can see there is a really happy kid on the box, giving two thumbs up. Let me assure you, all joy would end as soon as the box was opened. Look at the picture I have posted about the instructional material. It is a bunch of technical schematics, with absolutely zero educational value. Understand a child simply could not build any of these circuits without an adult telling them where to put each wire, and likely many adults would struggle with the instructions as well. The kit has zero educational value because the instructions give no context at all. There is not description of electricity, electron flow, what a battery does, what a switch does, or any of the other components. A child just plugs things in and then something happens, but learns nothing. The most interesting projects are the first few, where a switch is flipped and a bell comes on. The blower with the ball which was supposed to elevate does not demonstrate levitation at all. If you turn the blower on, the ball just spins. It is hard for me to describe how disappointed I was. This kit really could have been a platform for teaching basics of electronics and electricity, if the booklet had maintained what was portrayed on the cover of the box. It could have been something both fun and educational. But the instructions make the kit boring and useless. I am not trying to be harsh but really grieved at how misleading the Amazon description and box picture is.

This is a great learning piece. But way more advanced than for a 8 year old. The drawings are complicated to read for someone young. But as im a journeyman electrician it was ok. The wire lengths need to be longer. And more colour coordinated for positive and negative power to show flow of electricity.

My 9 yr old son plays with this litterally for hours!!! He loves it so much, a great toy for boys who like to create and build. The instructions are easy for him but there are obviously a ton of wire pieces lol

It has a lot going on for it, but it would be nice if it explained what each of the pieces does in simple terms. It only explains half of the things and doesn't explain them very well. Following the instructions won't really teach you what everything does, just the end result.
